Secret Military Bunkers to explore and great viewing points; this is why Mong Ha Hill is on my must visit list for Macau.

The hill is home to beautiful walks in nature where you can witness unique views of the local side of Macau. Furthermore, it is home to some real unique spots to discover such a stone temple.

However! What makes this spot so special is what is found off the beaten path. For those looking for an adventure the abandoned Military Bunkers and Artillery Pieces act are perfect for exploration. Found all over the hill some deep in the forest, it is like a treasure hunt to uncover Macau's unique military past!

It is very easy to reach as it is found in the heart of Macau, the address is:
"Mong-Ha Fortz, Macau, Macao"

Macau Adventure Bucket List!

This is probably the most difficult adventure on my Macau Bucket list!

Turtle Mountain towers over Cheoc Van Beach and is one of the few mountains in Macau that doesn't seem to have an official path up.

Hiking up this mountain took a full day of scrambling through nature on what was barely a dirt path. This adventure is for those looking for a tough but very rewarding hike.

Prepare yourself with mosquito repellent as I forgot on my hike up and was attacked by a large army of them for majority of the climb up.

Macau Adventure Bucket List!

For those who are looking for an awesome hiking experience in Macau I recommend the breath taking "Coloane North-East Hiking Trail Network".

This wonderful hike will give you unreal views of the Cotai Strip as well as the Ka Ho Reservoir.

It is a very quiet trail so you can enjoy insane views of Cotai and Coloane all to yourself!
