Boasting of having the room size of 500 - 800 square feets along with functioning kitchen facilities, it was as if we were moving to stay in our very own house in Tropics Eight Suites in Penang during our recent staycation review of this modern and contemporary hotel located strategically in Gottlieb Road.
What we really liked about this hotel is convenience it offers. For instance, we can prepare some basic food when staying here as it has an oven and basic kitchenware (plates, glasses, bowls, large fridge). On top of that, Tropic Eight Suites is located within a stone's throw away from Gurney Paragon, Gurney Plaza, Penang Adventist Hospital, Island Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital, Botanical Garden (1.7km) and various attractions
Washing machine, dryer and gym facilities are provided in Tropic Eight Suites too.
In case you are driving a car, you may park your car at the basement of the hotel on complimentary basis.
