#コナミが稼働させた、AC用固定画面STG('83年)からのFDS移植版であり、コナミ最後のFDS専用ソフト。
コナミ開発2課が開発、コナミが発売を行った。
主な変更点としては、ストーリーが追加、エンディングが追加、幾つかの惑星が追加、ステージが全39面に増加、
BGMは上高氏、藤尾氏, 坂倉氏による共同作・編曲。
FDSの拡張音源をフル活用し、長さも長尺にアレンジされた。AC版同様「トッカータとフーガニ短調」の一節のロックアレンジも健在。尚、VAP上高氏がコナミで作曲・編曲を行った記録の残っている最初の作品でもある。

這首是 “Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach” 所做的曲子，簡稱“C. P. E Bach”，他是眾所皆知的巴哈（Johann Sebastian Bach）的二兒子，也是巴哈的兒子中最有名的一位。
這首曲子在彈奏時，盡量要讓每個音能夠「顆顆分明」，音符與音符之間有些微的空隙。
而因為樂曲中有大量的「左右手交替彈奏」，除了要讓音質平均外，力度的控制很重要。
另外，曲子有許多連續的十六分音符，所以也要清楚橫向旋律的方向，才能清楚地呈現出樂句喔～
