Yes, i count down inside the Jungle, and it was all cool! 😎 So...here i am, Sabah lost world,
🏞️ Maliau Basin 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♂️

Here is what I did for my 2018 to 2019 new year countdown. Its my first time to go into the jungle and spend 5 days 4 nights carrying 16kgs and then add on with 6 beers.

28. 12. 2018, Started our journey early from Kota Kinabalu to Maliau Basin. We spend some time doing canopy walk, bbq, night walk, night safari, ice breaking and do not forget about our cultural night.

29.12.2018, Hike for about 7km, first 3km to Nepenthes camp (camel trophy camp) is some crazy slope.

30.12.2018, We went to 3 waterfall, Fauzi falls, Takob akob falls and Giluk falls from Nepenthes camp which were a total hike of about 7km again back and forward.

31.12.2018, is another harsh hike of about 17km,all the way from Nepenthes camp to Maliau falls and Ginseng camp.

1.1.2019, another 1km hike to Ginseng falls to for a cold swim cure our hangover and another 9km hike to Agantis Camp and another long ride back to Kota Kinabalu.

Quite a nice experience and another way of countdown celebrating the end of 2018 and starting of 2019.

Ah. And yea. No internet at all inside. So, some friends cannot find me. Paisheh lah.

Don't talk about going to Borneo. Just book a ticket, pack a bag and go! It's just happens.

3 days 2 nights journey at Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort made me reaIize, sometimes we need to find prime time to discover what brings us joy.

There, I found ways to survive and actually enjoy life without social media/ internet. I didn't feel any emptiness. I felt more calm, relaxing and peaceful.

We went for river cruise to catch sunrise and sunset in the middle of Kinabatangan River, hunting for crocodiles & wild animals along the riverbank, night walk in the jungle, saw very bright stars out on a clear night, spotted proboscis everywhere, jungle trekking, enjoyed meals four times a day and last but not least, slept in the cottage with comfy bed in the middle of preserved tropical rain forest.

How much the cost?
It's reasonable for a priceless experience like this. Highly recommended!
