Happy 1-month old, baby girl! 😘

Btw, as a first-time mom, the excitement to shop everything under the Sun is expected. But I’ve to say that one of the most helpful baby products that Idk I’d need is this baby cushion gifted by my SIL from Korea.

I personally love the design, fabric cover that’s removable, washable & comes in many cute prints & style. Love the handle for its portability too. 👍🏻

I’m convinced that Naeun loves this as much as we do & often sleeps soundly on it.
I wish she wouldn’t outgrow it so fast 🥺

Done registration of Naeun Ayra at JPN.

She’s registered as Kim Naeun, Malay, Bumiputera.

I received lots of DMs questioning on a few things:

1. No binti?

Yes, you can opt out bin/binti even though some officers at JPN might question/deny your decision. Fyi, bin/binti doesn’t indicate your religion because from what I know it means “son/daughter of” adopted from the Arabic name system ibn, ibni etc. Also, some non-Muslim ethnic groups use it too (ask your friends from Sabah/Sarawak). Most importantly, there’s nothing wrong without it in Islam. 😊

2. No Ayra?

Even though her full name is Naeun Ayra Kim (following Malaysian system last name comes latter), we register her name officially as Kim Naeun following Korean system (last name in front) so that in the future, if we settle down in Korea (or anywhere else), there’s no difference in any of her documentation = less headache. And Koreans don’t have long name like most of us do.

We insist her name is Naeun Ayra so you can call her Naeun or Ayra.

*Bukan sebab bangga nama Korea or lupa asal usul Melayu (like some people who said so in my DMs - the audacity is unbelievable 😪)

3. She’s Malay? Not following father’s race, Korean?

Yup. Apparently, you can choose the race upon registration. Idk if this applies only to interracial couples or since when they changed the rules but yeah. So, she’s a Malay, Bumiputera.
