International Shariah Scholars Forum 2019
Saya telah menjadi panel dalam sesi terakhir iaitu sesi diskusi terbuka tentang Piawaian Syariah tentang bank sosial petang tadi di Hotel Pulman. Diskusi dalam bahasa Arab. Saya juga diminta untuk membuat ucapan penutup ringkas kepada ISSF yang berjalan dengan lancar selama dua hari.
Dalam sesi panel dan juga ucapan penutup saya, saya berbicara tentang keperluan melihat kepada fekah sosial (al-fiqh al-ijtima'i) berdasarkan ilmu fekah yang baru melihat kepada lanskap dan data moden. Sudah pasti ianya lebih luas dari keadilan sosial yang pernah diusung suatu ketika dahulu oleh ramai sarjana Islam seperti Syed Qutb, al-Sibai'i dan ramai lagi.
Fekah Kemasyarakatan sudah berubah kepada sesuatu yang lebih moden, holistik dan berimpak tinggi. Takrifan baru kepada fekah sosial amat diperlukan. Sehubungan itu, perlu digarapkan juga mawatang sosial (social currency), pulangan sosial (social return) dan pencapaian sosial (social KPI) antara lain.
Dari segi hukum pula, ia perlu kepada skima fatwa dan hukum yang berbeza dan mungkin lebih ringan daripada bidang fekah komersil. Fekah sosial adalah amat dinamik. Alangkah elok mana2 pelajar dan sarjana Syariah mengambil tajuk dan tema ini sebagai bahan kajian kontemporari. Banyak penemuan yang dapat dirungkai untuk kelestarian umat Islam semasa.
Saya banyak belajar di samping memberi input dalam forum ini. Namun, sebelum kita ke hadapan, kita kena beriman dengan fekah sosial atau kebajikan masyarakat terlebih dahulu. Hati dan minda kena basah dan berimpikan fekah sosial.
