This is one of the rarest occasion that my Luv and I get to hike without our babies. So we hit the third highest peak in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Sunset Peak ☀️ or Tai Tung Shan (Chinese: 大東山) situated on Lantau Island.

個個都上大東睇茫草，唔通個個都想睇茫草咩～
唔係第一次上大東，但係第一次睇大東既雲海，靚到我真係喊左出黎。
成個人精神為之一振，忍唔住要係山頂大喝幾聲。
由大東望番去鳳凰山，雲霧繚繞，配以一片金黃茫草，真係無得輸
有個小心得同大家些牙，周末上大東，預左多人過出旺角，但片中所見一個人都無，點做到？ 我選擇左人潮真空期：
早上7-8點開始登山，上到頂9點幾未到10 點。正常行山群未到（通常約9 點東涌等嘛），睇日出個班又散左。所以我一路上去只遇到4-5 個師兄姐。
到睇飽美景下山，大約10點半左右，嘩。。。上山個條龍真係見到都驚。。。
當然，代價是你要5 點幾起身 ：）

MOUNTAIN HACK!
A little advice for avoiding the heavy crowds in sunset peak - make sure you start your hike EARLY. I started around 7-8 in the morning and was able to enjoy these mountain tops on my own. See for yourself! The only drawback? - getting up at 5 am. Yes, THAT early!

Middle Dog Teeth Ridge - also known as Mid Kau Nga 中狗牙 is one of the 4 Dog Teeth Ridges that lead up to Tsam Chai Au that is just below Lantau Peak! It's famed for the One Line of Survivability (一線生機) and for being a difficult hike!

Sharing my first hike to Sunset Peak----one of the best peaks in Hong Kong with yall lol⛰️
It was a very random afternoon hike + sunset chasing experience, but we had lots of FUN there!!
This is definitely one of my favorite activities on my winter checklist hehe ✨

活動終於完滿結束，在三旋共舞下，天氣仍然良好，一切都非常順利。
我們原先也十分擔心人多的問題，幸好我們最後安排了一船先去短咀後黃茅，然後在中午互換，這個安排也進行得非常流暢，未算有出現迫爆黃茅的情況出現。活動除了大家玩得開心外，最難能可貴的是看見山友們發揮了團結的精神，一齊協助清理黃茅洲的垃圾然後帶走。這活動可以順利完成，全賴各位山友支持和合作，這就是《以山會友》的本意，我們希望今日之後大家能夠繼續把這種精神延續下去……
