要研究海洋生物受什麼塑膠垃圾影響難度極高
雖然常會發現吃膠死掉或被塑膠纏綿的海洋生物
但相信這些被發現的個案也只是冰山一角
人類沒辦法到達的海域太多但那些地方也很多垃圾
最新的研究指出不同的塑膠垃圾危害不同生物
其中塑膠袋塑膠包裝常殺害鯨魚海豚海龜
而海鳥更易於吃進硬的塑膠碎片及氣球而死
塑膠袋/塑膠包裝/丟棄的釣魚線和網/氣球/
乳膠手套/塑膠碎片都是殘害海洋生物的垃圾
科學家期望可以有更多的研究更多的數據
讓各國可以為到塑膠垃圾下更關鍵的政策
從源頭減少使用更有效管理令死亡數字下降
