昨天(9/23) 法國傳奇女歌手Juliette Gréco 以93歲高齡辭世，她最著名的歌曲有Jolie Môme, La Javanaise, Déshabillez-moi, Il n'y a plus d'après, Sous le ciel de Paris.....等等。幾年前她與美國女歌手Melody Gardot合作的Sous les ponts de Paris (在巴黎的橋下) 更是一首膾炙人口的金曲~

新聞廣播FranceInfo說Juliette Gréco是法國精神的代表。二次大戰時Juliette Gréco家是法國反抗軍的祕密通道，但不幸被德國蓋世太保查獲~她跟媽媽還有姊姊此後就被送到德國集中營去了。幾個月後 Juliette 被釋放，但姊姊跟媽媽就此消失.... 那時才16歲的她孤苦無依~最後投靠媽媽在巴黎的好朋友，之後就展開了她70年的歌唱事業。雖然她跟她的家人被德軍迫害，Juliette 在戰後仍去德國進行歌唱表演，她表示她唱歌是給德國人民聽，而人民並沒有錯!
她曾跟美國酷派爵士樂手Miles Davis 有段轟轟烈烈的戀愛但卻因種族因素被迫分開, 另外也有軼聞說她曾跟寫異鄉人的卡謬有過一段情。
