Never knew that I could get fresh oysters and many more oyster dishes delivered to be enjoyed at home till now!
So thanks to @oystercosg and @sushico.sg, I had an amazing oyster feast yesterday in the comfort of my home. Since the two are sister brands, other than having loads of fabulous oyster dishes, (super love the 4 flavours of cooked oysters, especially the cheese baked one and orhlua! Yumz!), there were also some delicious sticks of yakitoris, sushis, chawanmushis and thick slices of sashimi that made dinner oh so perfect! Lemon slices were provided for the ready-to-eat fresh oysters and did I mention that they have orh-ah mee sua too??

It is an introduction of a very gorgeous cheesecake. The strawberries are very beautiful on the side, so they are perfect for parties. Please add a heart pattern as you like. It is perfect for today's snack, so please make it.
Cooking time: 180 minutes
Estimated cost: around 400 yen
Ingredients (for one unit (15 cm))
Rare cheese dough
6 strawberries
Cream cheese 200 g
Sugar 70g
Sugar-free yogurt 100g
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
①Fresh cream 100ml
①milk 100ml
Powdered gelatin 12 g
Water (for gelatin) 3 tbsp
Cookie dough
Biscuit 80g
Melted butter (unsalted) 40g
Berry sauce
Strawberry jam 80g
Water 100ml
Powder gelatin 5 g
Water (for gelatin) 1 1 tbsp
Strawberry (for topping)
Mint (for topping)
How to make
Preparation. Let the cream cheese return to room temperature. Cut the strawberry for topping into 1cm squares.
1.Rare cheese dough gelatin and berry sauce gelatin are sprinkled into water and sprinkled.
2. Strawberries are sliced and cut in half vertically.
3. Put the biscuit in a plastic bag and crush it with a rolling pin. Add the melted butter, knead it by hand, spread it on the bottom of the mold when the butter is used, press it with a spoon, and put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
4. Mix the cream cheese with a whisk until smooth, then add the sugar and mix well. Add unsweetened yogurt and lemon juice and mix.
5. Put ① in a pan and warm over low heat until just before boiling. Remove from heat, add gelatin from 1 rare cheese dough, melt, add to 4 and mix well.
6. Spread 2 on the side of 3 Pour 5 and cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
7. Add water to strawberry jam and mix. Heat over low heat until just before boiling, add gelatin from 1 berry sauce and dissolve.
8. When6 is solidified, pour the coarse heat 7 over, cool it for another hour, solidify it and remove it from the mold.

1.5 teaspoon of salt (add lesser if you're using salted butter)

I made the crust with vanilla wafers (not the biscuits). Very tasty, crisp, and delicious. You must try it out!!!

Japanese Baked Cheesecake Sticks / Bars
Difficulty: easy
Time: 40min + 2-3 hours refrigeration time
Number of servings: 12 cheesecake bars
Necessary Equipment:
6-inch (15cm) square brownie pan
(9-inch square brownie pan makes 18 flatter cheesecake bars)
NOTE: Ingredients are listed in both American and metric measurements. However, please use a kitchen scale (metric measurements) to get a perfect result.
Ingredients:
((Crust))
120g (about 16 pieces) vanilla wafers
40g (about 3 tbsp.) butter (softened)
((Cheesecake Filling))
200g (1 cup) cream cheese (softened)
60g (4&1/2 tbsp.) sugar
2 eggs
150ml whipping cream
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. cake flour (all purpose flour or any kind of flour is ok)
20g (about 2 tbsp.) melted butter
Directions:
((Crust))
1. Line the brownie pan with parchment paper.
2. Smash vanilla wafers in a Ziploc bag, add butter, then mix well. Press firmly into the brownie pan. Chill until set.
((Cheesecake Filling))
1. Preheat the oven to 180C (350F).
2. Cream the cream cheese with a whisk. Add sugar, beaten eggs (little by little), whipping cream, lemon juice, flour (sift in), and melted butter, then mix well until smooth.
((Baking))
1. Pour the cheesecake filling into the brownie pan and bake at 180C (350F) for 35-40 minutes.
2. Cool to the room temperature and chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Cut into bars.
The best way to cut a cheesecake is to use a long knife that has been warmed in hot water. Dip the knife in hot water, wipe, then cut. Repeat this each time you cut!
