Tip No. 41: You know those quirky little things you do and think? Collect them in a file or on paper. Even if you’re a storyteller, you can use these as details to add depth and distinction to your jokes.

Tip No. 45: Don’t Hoard Jokes
Don’t worry about “burning” material on a special or album. Hoarding jokes may signal to your brain that you’re out of ideas. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” — Maya Angelou.
Gary’s thoughts on Tip No. 45: This attitude has been crucial to an unprecedented streak of creativity over the last two years. I’ve written four hours of material, which is almost as much as I wrote in my first 23 years of comedy. Most important has been my health, this idea may be second.
Tip No. 62: Look for inspiration everywhere. Paintings, music, poetry, rap, novels, nonfiction, short stories, theater, philosophy, etc. can all provide a spark for creativity. Cross-pollinate your work with broad influences and watch your creativity grow.
Tip No. 63: Write it all down while the coffee is still telling you you’re mighty. Reread after you’ve turned back into Dr. Banner (yes he’s a genius, but not as self-confident in that condition). That buzz is so valuable but needs editing.

Tip No. 90: After a Good Set, Brainstorm
You just had a great set. Instead of celebrating, use that hour or so after when the synapses are still firing and your confidence is soaring to voice record or write down the ideas that pop up during that especially fertile creative time.
Gary’s thoughts on Tip No. 90: Huge help in making jokes that work longer and coming up with tangents and inspired ideas.
Tip No. 92: Notice where you do your best thinking. The shower? Running? Listening to music? Not listening to music? Driving? Walking? Make sure to put yourself in the places where you’re doing your best thinking as frequently as possible.
Tip No. 132: I think you can limit frustration and discouragement by writing just a page on a new premise before trying it out onstage. See if there’s anything there before you spend a day on a new joke. But if you’re truly excited by the new idea, keep going!
Tip No. 143: Listen to strangers’ conversations. (I tell myself it’s not impolite if they’re being super-loud.) I got “How Dottie is that?” when a supercilious woman named Jodi bragged “How Jodi is that?” “So Jodi,” her friend replied.
我有一次聽到一個名叫Jodi的膚淺女人吹噓"How Jodi is that?",她朋友回覆:"So Jodi",我因此想出了我的 “How Dottie is that?”
Tip No. 157: Need new joke ideas? Be sensitive. If you’re uncomfortable with that word, use “irritable” (or grow up). A lot of good comedy comes from reaction to injustice or discomfort large and small, which requires being hypersensitive to those feelings.
Tip No. 217: “All art is autobiographical. The pearl is the oyster’s autobiography.” — Federico Fellini. Purposefully mine your personal history for your act. Your life is a wellspring. Dig deep.
Federico Fellini
Tip No. 241: Many of your favorite writers include the same themes/subjects/objects/interests repeatedly in their work. Don’t be afraid to return again and again to your passions and obsessions to explore and expound.
Tip No. 285: Explore unusual angles in a joke. Example: Examine things from the POV of a child or an Expert. My man Jimmy P and I still laugh over his “Martian response to high school football practice: Why are the hard-heads (players) taking orders from the small soft-heads (coach)?”
Tip No. 297: One of the miracles of comedy is that you can get redemption for suffering, small and large, by making something funny with it. When you are ready, try to write something funny about your mistakes, setbacks, or even tragedies.
Tip No. 298: Skim your life for the unusual events and activities that you can’t believe you were a part of or that people can’t believe you were a part of. Then write about it! Back row No. 93 MULLET:
Tip No. 310: When it comes to solving the puzzles that are our jokes, draw on every area of knowledge, expertise, and talent. It’s so gratifying to use a fact, a lesson, or a memory from elementary school, high school, or elsewhere to fill in the joke.
Tip No. 311: Some of your best ideas will come to you in the shower. There’s science behind why it happens. Get a shower notepad if you have trouble remembering your ideas. Don’t listen to music. Listen to your thoughts. Ruminate on tonight’s set or a new joke.
Tip No. 313: Try teaching or informing the audience about something through some of your jokes. We love to learn while being entertained and vice versa. You have knowledge? Put it in your act! Just make sure it’s funny.
Tip No. 327: Going home for Thanksgiving? Take copious notes! Your family is unique. Being reminded of the dynamics and adding new memories will be great resources for your act. “Family isn’t a word. It’s a sentence.”
Tip No. 331: There are great stories from our lives that we’re not able to translate into stand-up. Don’t throw them out. Collect those stories in a file for radio and TV and other interview situations.
Tip No. 340: Volunteer! Especially if you don’t have a day job. There are so many opportunities to help. You will do good and have something new to write about. In NYC we have New York Cares. One year we decorated an elementary school for Halloween.
Tip No. 358: I have recently started audio recording all notes sessions (for projects), and next time I pitch jokes with a friend I will record that too. It’s very helpful. You will be surprised at what you forgot when you listen back. Ask permission first.
Tip No. 360: Spending holidays with kids? Pay attention to them. Listen to them. Take note and embrace their curiosity and enthusiasm within your writing. (Also avoid the “kids these days” writing. It’s lazy.) Merry Christmas from your second favorite long-haired Jew.

The Canny Ong murder case in Malaysia.
Ahmad Najib Aris, a former aircraft cabin cleaner, was hanged at dawn on Friday the 23rd of September 2016 for the rape and murder of Canny Ong Lay Kian in 2003. The execution was carried out at Kajang Prison. His body was returned to his family and later laid buried at the Sungai Kantan Muslim cemetery in Kajang.
The Shah Alam High Court had sentenced 40 year old Najib to death on the 23rd of February 2005 for raping and murdering 28 year old Canny Ong, at Batu 7, Old Klang Road, Petaling Jaya between 1am and 5am on June 14, 2003. He was also sentenced to the maximum of 20 years in prison and 10 strokes of the cane for raping her.
The trial got huge publicity and gripped the nation with horrific details of abduction, rape, murder and the dumping of Canny's body into a manhole before it was set on fire. A DNA test had been conducted confirming Ahmad Najib's semen in Ong's vagina which proved that he had intercourse with the victim. In March 2009, the Federal Court upheld his death sentence.
Canny was an IT-analyst living in the United States with her husband Brandon. She was in Malaysia to visit her ailing father. On the13th of June 2003, a day before she was due to return to the US, she went out for dinner with family and friends and at the up-market Bangsar Shopping Complex in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. After the meal, she went to the basement car park to fetch her parking ticket from her car. She asked her mother, Pearly Visvanathan Ong, and sister to wait for her by the autopay machine. Canny was kidnapped in the underground car park at 10.45pm. This was recorded on CCTV cameras, which showed her car being driven out at speed and crashed through the barrier. Canny’s mother reported her missing about 20 minutes later at the Brickfields police station.
Two policemen patrolling on motorcycles stopped Canny’s car, a Proton Tiara, with Najib and Canny in it near Kelana Jaya. She was still alive at that time. An officer took their identity cards and while he was checking them Najib tried to drive off. One front tire was shot out. However Najib managed to get away. In the early hours of the following morning he raped Canny. He then stabbed her twice and pushed her body into a roadside drain.
He escaped in a taxi and returned the next day and doused the body in petrol and set fire to it. The remains were discovered by a construction site manager. Canny’s car was found abandoned.
A van driver was able to give the court crucial evidence that helped to convict Najib, having seen him at the construction site in the car with a topless woman lying on the back seat. Investigators found Canny’s DNA found on jeans belonging to Najib and his semen was found on her body.
One interesting question remains. Why did Canny not escape from the car when she had at least two chances to do so? Sadly we will never know the answer. She may have just been petrified and unable to escape.
A video on the case is available here.

THE brutal murder of 28-year-old Canny Ong in 2003 remains embedded in the minds of many Malaysians. The tragedy shook the nation not just because of the gruesome and senseless nature of the crime committed – Ong was abducted, raped, stabbed and torched – but also because it happened in a popular and upscale neighbourhood-mall that was fitted with security cameras.
Unfortunately, Ong never returned with the ticket. After waiting for 20 minutes, Ong’s mother Pearly Visvanathan Ong and her sister decided to go to the car park to look for her. When they went down they found the car, a purple Proton Tiara, missing. Sensing something bad had happened to her daughter, Pearly ran to the mall’s security office to view the CCTV tapes. The tapes confirmed their worst fears: they saw Canny being abducted by an unidentified male who drove off with her in her car, crashing past the exit barrier of the carpark.
Days later, Ong’s charred remains were found in a manhole along Old Klang Road in Kuala Lumpur. Forensic and criminal investigators found evidence that led to the arrest of a 27-year-old aircraft cabin cleaner, Ahmad Najib Aris.

′′ When I Get In The Ward, Look At The Ceiling, Many Creatures Creep!" April 19, 2017
.
I want to share my experience while I'm in the hospital. This is from the glasses of a person with a close eye.
.
When I enter the hospital ward, my sepet eyes will surely look around the top and bottom because of too many creatures that cannot be seen with rough eyes. I'm not meant to scare anyone, but that's the experience of a sepet eye
.
CASE ONE * 1 ⃣
I walked into the ward of 3th grade of Big Hospital ***** ******. When I looked at the ceiling, so many creatures creep. There is a round eye, long eye, long eye, long ear, there is a horny face. They seem to wait for the moment to jump down.
At the end, I saw a man walk holding his own head. Blood shredded out of his neck. Nurses and doctors as usual do their responsibilities.
.
I'm the only one who sometimes sees under the patient's bed, the dead body is sleeping underneath it. A child pulls his mother's hand as his finger points to the board under the bed. The mother's mad at her child.
Next time mothers who have children like this, believe me they can see what others can't see with rough eyes.
.
CASE TWO * 2 ⃣
I see so many people coming to visit their sick family members during visiting time. A woman looks like her way so slow. On top of it there is a monkey on the ground and his eyes are reddish. When I told my wife, she kept silent. I keep reading the Quran verse and then I blow into the creature.
.
The creature fell down and the woman was swollen before being held by her family who thought she would be dead or unwell. The creature woke up and his face looks so angry. He knows who the owner is that caused him to fall. Her eyes look right towards me.
.
I read the qursi verse and exhale once again, it disappears.
′′ Laa, why did you blow it?
In a while the ward will be noisy,"
Greet the wife when I tell her back. It's true, I'm just speechless. That's my attitude to see anyone carrying a supernatural that he doesn't know. I'll make it from afar and sometimes I'm being attacked when I fall asleep.
.
CASE THREE * 3 ⃣
While I saw a crowd surround a man, apparently he is on the verge of death.
Kids are busy with handphones, call here. Might be telling relatives about their father's news.
.
The busiest thing is the creature with long ears, long horns disturbing the man. At this moment we should whisper Laaila Haillallah's sentence to her. We teach him that sentence.
.
Not what we see and say to dad," Dad, say dad. Saying..." while sobbing. If we love them, we help them now.
.
Caring for mobile phone, whisper in his ear Laaila haillallah. At that moment his eyes just look up. He was disturbed actually.
If we love dads and moms when they are almost around it doesn't matter if boys or girls teach your parents. That's our love for them. Don't just look and cry.
Sometimes if I visit, I will advise and teach children about this word. Let them end it with a good finish.
.
CASE FOUR * 4 ⃣
Once I went to the morgue to ask for a mother's death letter. I see some creatures standing near the coffin. I'm just not sure if the fridge belongs to them. They dress as usual as we see in humans. There are also ugly faces, but the face is broken, the tongue is wiped out. Quickly I found the mailing out and went straight to his office.
.
Case FIVE * 5 ⃣
I went to the heart ward while visiting my mother in law. A nurse is so diligent in helping the patient.
But without him realizing he was following something. Long hairstyles walk behind her.
Where ever the nurse went she'll follow. His eyes just look down. Sometimes her hair will get stuck on the nurse's shoulder and I see the nurse swollen as if she's itchy. I can only see without doing anything to the nurse. It's normal when working in the hospital. That's why it's best for us to practice the verse of Al Matsur
.
Before going out of the hospital we read the matsurat sentence or qursi sentence then we blow left, right, front and back before going home. Practice it.
.
We don't know what follows us home. The victim is our children.
.

World's best motorcycle pants are RHOK (search Ebay for them) Ok....since making this video I've started to research it online for the first time. What have I learned? By repeating a sentence you begin to "meditate" you enter an "altered state of Consciousness". And then once there you can with some effort.....leave your body. I know this isn't bull because I've done it.....well almost. The vibration scared me back. But if you look at people who practice this they fully describe the vibrations and say how you should ignore them to proceed.......so I was seconds away from stepping out.
A few people are mentioning Inception to me. I haven't heard of it or seen it yet.
I believe the being awake while falling asleep part is safe. But stepping out of your body....I'm not 100% sure on that part.
Anyway...here is a link that I just found while uploading the video....that explains what I'm talking about...and also reconfirmed for me that this shit is real...since it describes something that I've done before in detail. It's real.
