Not gonna lie, October has been extremely tough for me. Being coincidentally my birthday month, having expectations of it to be a good one has inevitably put more stress on my shoulders... Well, i'm just glad I can share these not-so-good moments with you guys, alongside the happy ones.
Ash has left us on the 13th October 2020. He passed on after being sick for 2.5 months (he wasn't eating, poo-ing and had to be force fed daily since then) and after countless of vet visits, blood tests and medication... he eventually passed on after being in the hospital for 5 days. He was 14.
You guys saw Ash through my VLOGs and witnessed his beautiful life, together. I thought I owed it to you to share this piece of news and bring you guys along to be by his side during his last moments. We miss him everyday, and I don't know if our hearts will feel the same again. Ash will always be my first kitty-love!

Inspired by artform 'Kintsugi', which uses melted gold to repair broken pottery, so that the cracks can be seen clearly, this song is about using melted gold to repair our scars, so that they may become something beautiful. Our scars are our past, our story, and are what makes us unique. Instead of hiding them, with love, they can become something we are proud of, something that makes us a better person. Jocelyn hopes her music can be this metaphorical 'gold' for listeners who need the support.
