I always feel anxious when Chinese New Year comes around as all the yummy things can hurt my weight loss plan. I can’t resist the temptation of all the seeds and candies in the Chinese New Year candy boxes, help me!

How about try replacing all the items in your candy box with healthier snacks such as pumpkin seeds, baked nuts, and dried fruits without additives, low sodium rice crackers, vegetable chips with little seasoning. You should also note not to over eat. Let yourself enjoy while visiting friends and relatives during the new year and have a cup of slimming tea when you get home!

Hello my subbies!
I'm bacckkk with a cooking video because you guys seem to enjoy watching me cook ? (definitely did not see that coming).
So tonight I'm making dinner, chicken and rice for the bae, fish for me and lastly vegetables to share.
Ingredients:
- Fish
- Chicken drumsticks/thigh
- Lettuce (I used 2 whole ones)
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Chilli Flakes
- Black Pepper
- Dried Shrimp
Chicken Marinade For Bae
- Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- Low Sodium Oyster Sauce
- Pepper
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Chilli Flakes
- Sesame Oil
Cook on high heat then pour in some water and cook off in med-low heat
Steamed Fish
- Fish
- Chilli Flakes
- Black Pepper
- Ginger
- Garlic
De-gut and clean the fish, lay and stuff with ginger/garlic slices
Steam for approximately 15 mins on med-low heat (highly dependent on the size of your fish!! So watch it)
Sautéed Lettuce (Chinese Style)
- Lettuce (I used 2 whole ones)
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Chilli Flakes
- Black Pepper
- Dried Shrimp
Lightly brown the garlic and ginger, then pour in the dried shrimp (along with the liquid), cook off for a minute then add in the lettuce!
Season to your taste!
