I can't believe that I ate live coconut worm during my stay in Kota Kinabalu Sabah. I asked the locals on bizarre food they would consume and they recommended their delicacy- Butod, which is known as coconut worms. It is a baby of a type of beetle and they feed on coconut palm. The worms have about 66.3% protein and it contains linoleic acid which is an essential fat.

Here is one of my favourite hangout spot or bakery and cafe called Kenny Hills Bakers. This is located at Desa Park City which I think it is more spacious compared to their first outlet located at Bukit Tunku. The simple setup reminds me of Australia's breakfast places.

PASTRY:
I love their pastries because they are fluffy. I would recommend their Spinach and Goat Cheese Tart. The Mushroom Tart is yummy too and their pies are huge...
They bake pretty good Sourdough bread as well, I have bought them before and my family loves it!

CAKES:
They are famous for cakes such as the brownies, Tiramisu (non-alcohol) and onde-onde. Their new cake is the current trending Burnt Cheesecake. My personal favourite is the Peach Strudel and Tiramisu with alcohol. The Tiramisu with alcohol is really strong for me.

FOOD:
I love their pizza especially the Truffle Mushroom pizza, or you can go for their basic Margherita pizza too.

DRINKS:
My favourite is the Passionate Fruit with Wild Honey.
They are a cafe after all, their coffee is a must try too.

It has been awhile since our volleyball team (year 2005-2008) gathered, and soon after we gathered, some old photos of our best moments during our volleyball days surfaced in our chat group~ Well... it is just in time for 10 years challenge I guess... haha~

We got to celebrate Vivien, Esther and YueEr's birthday together~ wished all of the other Kuen Cheng Volleyball team girls were here with us!

This was an epic trip with my girls~ and all thanks to bestie and bride-to-be, Belle for bringing all of us together celebrating with you!

Great times at the beach, party, midnight swims and spicy conversations~ it was definitely a wonderful time indeed.

This is my first trip to Bali, and I know it wont be my last :)
