The term Muck diving started in the 80s where a group of divers in Papua New Guinea decided to dive in a shallow and silty inlet which they were advised not to but they went in anyway and then the rest is history. So grateful they did that jump which contributed immensely to the world of science and our understanding of the marine environment.
