很感謝老朋友 唱歌集音樂劇場 TOTAL Musical Theatre 的邀演，這次是主打「親子音樂劇」，但建議年齡為國小三年級以上的小朋友們。因為這齣親子劇並不是像巧虎或幼幼台那樣的風格，不論是曲風、編舞都是很流行、大人們也會很喜歡的那種，只是故事主軸是在一群國小生身上。

60年代潘迪華有「旅行歌手」之稱，因她經常受邀到歐美、中東等地演出，她以宣傳香港為已任，一邊演唱一邊向外國人介紹這顆東方明珠。她的《Ding Dong Song》，《My Hong Kong》是當年風行一時的流行曲，她勇於創新，70年代自資製作中文音樂劇《白孃孃》，她的勇氣和堅持啟發了很多後輩音樂人。
黃耀明、林二汶、岑寧兒、鄭欣宜、陳健安聯同音樂總監陳浩然Edward Chan，選唱一系列潘姐姐的歌曲，林嘉欣聲音旁白；向潘姐姐致敬，重踏她的一段音樂旅程。

In the 1960s, Rebecca Pan was nicknamed the Travelling Singer as she was frequently invited to perform overseas, in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, and elsewhere. She also took it as her duty to promote Hong Kong, introducing the Pearl of the Orient to foreign audiences in her songs. Her Ding Dong Song, My Hong Kong and many other songs were all greatest hits of the time. Rebecca Pan also dared to be innovative and persistent in her pursuit of dreams. In the 1970s, she already self-financed and produced a Chinese musical Madame White Snake. Her courage and endurance inspired many young musicians.
The programme features singers Anthony Wong, Eman Lam, Yoyo Sham, Joyce Cheng, On Chan, together with Music Director Edward Chan, paying tribute to Rebecca by performing a series of her famous songs, and re-discovering the musical journey of this iconic figure of Hong Kong.

在NYC的Manhattan，對我來說最特別的觀光節目就是去百老匯看音樂劇，在這短短的一星期，我共看了三部音樂劇Musical，分別是Frozen 冰雪奇緣、Wicked和The Lion King獅子王。到埗後發現Broadway Musical的門票絕不便宜，很多大熱的音樂劇最便宜的票價也由99美元起跳，網上購買更要繳交不同的高昂手續費，我整理了數種不同的購買方法，給大家分享一下我在Broadway如何能購買到一些較便宜的門票！

將要碰壁的一刻，你要做一個決定，換一個立場，還是轉身逃跑？Songs for a New World 以歌曲捕捉這一瞬間，探討生命、愛和抉擇，屬於今天的故事和人物，再以音樂開展新世界。作曲及填詞Jason Robert Brown將觀眾由1492年西班牙船艦的甲板上，帶到紐約第五大道，遇上立志用籃球脫貧的年輕男子，再見證終日幻想能嫁個有錢人的女子，終於如願以償卻發現沒靈魂的一段婚姻。Songs for a New World 是個組曲音樂劇 (Song Cycle)，17首歌曲蘊含著17個故事。自1995年於外百老匯首演後，已經於全球上演數百場。
It's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back. These are the stories and characters of today, the Songs For A New World. This moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices we make. Brown transports his audience from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue to meet a startling array of characters ranging from a young man who has determined that basket-ball is his ticket out of the ghetto to a woman whose dream of marrying rich nabs her the man of her dreams and a soulless marriage. Songs for a New World, a theatrical song cycle, which played Off-Broadway in 1995, and has since been seen in hundreds of productions around the world.
