IMPORTANT: Hi Yogis, it is with huge sadness that I am writing to inform you that one of my good friends and yoga colleagues at Pure Yoga, Jayan, has just lost his wife in a hit and run incident. He is left with 2 small children, the younger one of 6 months old needing an organ transplant. Both my and the whole yogic community's thoughts go out to him at this very tragic time.
Despite the fact that I have always offered hOMe Yoga as a free community practice, given the above I have decided to turn our upcoming kula gathering into a Charity Fund Raiser for Jayan and his children. For those attending please donate what you can afford...(for those seeking some guidance I should suggest a minimum donation of HK$100, however if you genuinely cannot afford this sum, then still feel free to join the practice and just give whatever you can). We shall also maintain 2 minutes of silence at the start of the practice to send our love and energy to Jayan.
