大概從 18 歲開始，我就強迫症般的在網路上搜尋喜歡的樂團是用怎樣的器材。那個距今 18 年的時代，有個叫做 guitargeek 的網站，上面用很可愛的圖畫出樂團使用的吉他、音箱、效果器，而且從 Yo La Tengo、My Bloody Valentine 到 Luna 這些當時不常出現在主流吉他雜誌的樂團都有，資料來源還會寫下「站長在表演後跑去跟樂團喇賽」、「打電話給樂團詢問」。
guitargeek 有個討論區，雖然我大學是念外文系，不過實際上的閱讀都是在看世界各地的 geek 分享不為人知的秘技，或是他們從哪期雜誌，看哪個吉他英雄談到自己的音樂如果沒有哪顆效果器，就絕對寫不出來。沒在彈吉他的時間，我幾乎都是在搜尋這些資料、故事、無從查證的軼聞。
好幾年後，才開始知道日本有 Guitar Magazine 這種連樂手吉他弦距幾公分都紀錄下的瘋狂雜誌，或是一整本就只介紹一個樂團機材的專書，陸陸續續也收了幾本，也只能看圖說故事，不只無從查證，更是閱讀不能。
當達叔 Ta Yen Wu / 野花惹吵聯繫我，他們有做一份效果器小誌的構想，還用我最喜歡的諧音梗取名叫「效友會通訊」時，我好像有個從沒想過的夢想，忽然就這樣被完成了-- 我的效果器要被用紙本印出來了！
訪談當天總覺得非常超現實，「我現在真的在囉唆的講我的效果器，而且還被筆記下我正在講的內容嗎？」「我該適可而止嗎？我應該還可以再講兩小時。」
「效友會通訊」裡不只有效果器，還有午休失眠、Valley Hi！、Super Napkin 三團自行剖析，及討論彼此的篇幅，以及超精美的美編與漫畫。要把吉他手抽象沒邏輯的語言紀錄成文本真的很難，除了愛之外，我想不出來他們為什麼要費盡心力做這本小眾刊物。
即使小眾，這是一本關於我熱愛的事物的 zine。活到現在，我已經有半輩子都在跟效果器玩了，很開心能看到台灣有一本效果器 zine，很開心成為效友會的 geek。
超正黑膠！
這家The Lost Recordings唱片公司，是專門尋找一些名家的實况音樂會錄音，而這些音樂會錄音是未有出版過，之後再經精心處理，重新製版後發行。
今次這張就是Sarah Vaughan在1969年於Berlin Philharmonie的演唱會，一套兩張黑膠，雖然是單聲道錄音，不過這種人聲如在面前的像真度相當之高，而且聲音通透、自然，真的估不到有這樣理想音質。還有Sarah Vaughan充滿能量的歌聲，真的聽到有點毛管戙，而且演唱多首爵士名曲，如Misty、My Funny Valentine、Fly Me To The Moon、Day In, Day Out等等。所以一定要同喜歡聽爵士女聲的發燒友分享！
