冰島在冬天是很容易看到北極光的。冬天時候，太陽比較早就下山了，夜晚也因此比較漫長。黑暗星空能看看到北極光機率也比較高，尤其是冰島的北部。
最完美的看北極光方法其實是泡著溫泉，邊等那神秘神聖的那道光出現。泡在溫暖的溫泉水裡，一邊品嚐著熱可可，一邊讓溫泉水裡的礦物質把皮膚變得更光滑透亮，一邊賞光⋯ 沒有什麼能比這樣子來追光更華麗舒服和自在。
冰島北部是出了名最容易看到北極光的地方，而MyVatn溫泉正在冰島北方。湖水碧藍剔透，而且是甜的（別問我為什麼知道）哈哈哈

In Winter, the sun goes down earlier and you will have longer time of dark skies, higher possibilities of spotting the Aurora Borealis at anypoint of time, anywhere, faraway from light pollution, as early as from 8pm, especially up North iceland. And the best way to hunt for the Northern lights, are by soaking in hot warm water, and wait for that special and magical moment when the lights appears ... and of course, a good camera/photographer is needed.
