90年从夏威夷搬到上海的我,当年才刚开始接触一些中文歌曲也是在那个小学时期发现了崔健老师的作品。因为从小爱听蓝调和摇滚,当时我觉得特别兴奋能听到这么独特的华语歌。从《一无所有》到 《南泥湾》,那一张专辑的歌我都背下来了,而每天在家里跟着老师说唱着。我自己最喜欢的其中一首是《假行僧》, 一直觉得有一种潇洒与忘我的感觉,让听者进入一种人在江湖上漂泊的状态。这首对于我在听华语歌曲方面是有特别意义与影响的作品所以透过这次的翻唱我希望分享这个音乐记忆。透过另一种潇洒与忘我的表现,但用着同一股对音乐的热情去带给大家 《假行僧》。

I moved from Hawaii to Shanghai in 1990, and I just started to get in touch with some Chinese songs. I also discovered the work of Teacher Cui Jian in that elementary school. Because I loved listening to blues and rock from childhood, I was particularly excited to hear such a unique Chinese song. From "Nothing" to "Nan Niwan", the songs of that album were all backed up, and I sang at home every day with my teacher. One of my favorite ones is "Fake Walk", which always feels a sense of chic and forgetfulness, allowing the listener to enter a state of drifting on the rivers and lakes. This is a work that I have a special meaning and influence on listening to Chinese songs. Therefore, I hope to share this music memory through this cover. 「交趾陶」源自唐三彩,為一種低溫彩釉軟陶,主要用於傳統中式建築裝飾,如傳統廟宇等。由於過程程步驟繁複,無法以機器進行量產,全憑手工與經驗才能進行,每一件都會有些微不同,也代表著每一件皆是全世界獨一無二、絕無僅有的作品。因此,在古董市場上交趾陶非常熱門,已轉變成為蒐藏家最愛的「藝術品」。
近年來各家鍵盤領域中,開始朝向金屬方面發展,Ducky自己也嘗試了許多種類。因此在今年雞年限定版中,Ducky有著不同的想法,將代表現代科技的鍵盤,結合中華傳統工藝「交趾陶」,讓鍵盤昇華成藝術品。
Ducky team has collaborated with national treasure Master Sheng-Nan Lu to create a keyboard inspired by the artistic elements of Koji Pottery. The hidden meaning behind the designed of the rooster reflects traditional Chinese culture where people are hardworking, starting their work when the sun rises and resting when the sun sets. When the rooster crows in the morning, people know to start their day of work. Through his fine craftsmanship, Master Lu incorporates a rooster in this piece to show that the sun rises with the rooster’s crowing. The rooster represents both past experiences and the importance of thinking carefully before making any decisions regarding the future.
Koji potter cannot be made by machinery but only by hand through a complicated process. Each one is handmade and so each work is unique. Because of this it is popular in the antique market and coveted by collectors.
In recent years keyboard makers have simply been using aluminum and metallic as the material of their keyboards. Ducky has also made our own aluminum and metallic keyboards in the past. However, we want to do something new, something outside of the box; we have merged modern technology with traditional koji pottery to craft a keyboard that is one of a kind.

Char kway teow, literally "stir-fried ricecake strips", is a popular noodle dish in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia. The dish is considered a national favourite in Malaysia and Singapore.
It is made from flat rice noodles (河粉 hé fěn in Chinese) or kway teow (粿条 guǒ tiáo in Chinese) of approximately 1 cm or (in the north of Malaysia) about 0.5 cm in width, stir-fried over very high heat with light and dark soy sauce, chilli, a small quantity of belachan, whole prawns, deshelled blood cockles, bean sprouts and chopped Chinese chives. The dish is commonly stir-fried with egg, slices of Chinese sausage, fishcake, beansprouts, and less commonly with other ingredients. Char kway teow is traditionally stir-fried in pork fat, with crisp croutons of pork lard. In Penang, Char kway teow is commonly served on a piece of banana leaf on a plate, so as to enhance the aroma on the noodles.
The term "char kway teow" is a transliteration of the Chinese characters 炒粿條 (in simplified Chinese 炒粿条), Teochew origin and also pronounced chhá-kóe-tiâu? in Min Nan (also known as Teochew or Hokkien). The word kóe-tiâu (literally meaning "ricecake strips") generally refers to flat rice noodles, which are the usual ingredient in West Malaysia and Singapore. In East Malaysia, on the other hand, actual sliced ricecake strips are used to make this dish.
Owing to the dish's popularity and spread to Cantonese-speaking areas, the term "char kway teow" has been corrupted into "炒貴刁" in Cantonese. The term "貴 刁" has no real meaning, but its pronunciation in Cantonese and Mandarin is similar to "粿條" in Min Nan.
In Hong Kong, "char kway teow" is often known as "Penang char kway teow" (檳城炒粿條 or 檳城炒貴刁)
