A lot of people are familiar with Bill Gates's Microsoft.
But probably not familiar with oracle and sap

Because the customers of both companies are not common..
So who are their customers?

Invest, man will tell you about it.

In fact, both oracle and sap customers are the company..

These two companies do business, software development, data planning and corporate resources.
AKA ERP (enterprise resource planning)

While Oracle is an American nationality company
Founded in 1977 by Mr. Larry Ellison, Bob Miner and Ed Oates

So why do companies need erp software

Assuming a simple example is..

After the production, I sent items to the inventory.
Last step. If order will be delivered to the supplier..

The question is if our business size is so big

So what is the income structure of both companies?

SAP INCOME FROM CLOUD AND License 83 % and services 17 %
Oracle Income comes from cloud and license 82 %, hardware 10 % AND SERVICES 8 %

Essentially, software revenue comes from license and later start adjusting models to the era through cloud technology.

This makes the software that seems difficult to use. It's more accessible to smaller entrepreneurs.

Including it consulting companies that buy copyright to design systems for organizations like Accenture, deloitte or ey (Ernst & young) have more playful..

Also, if the income is divided by each region, company.

From Asian Zone 16 %
American Zone 40 %
Europe, middle east and Africa zone (Emea) 44 %

Including Partnerships with 18,000 other companies covering 180 countries.

While Oracle has a customer on hand 430,000 account

Oracle can see that the American Zone Income is over half of the total income.

The Evolution of Chinese Religion: From Monotheism to Polytheism


There are few well known religions in China such as Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. The belief in Oneness of God was there before the existence of religion in Chinese society. Chinese community believe the existence of one God which is Shang Di before the arise of Confucianism and Taoism philosophy. The Chinese historian, Sima Qian wrote in his book entitled Shi Ji state:“Shang Di is another name for Tian. The spirits do not have two Lords”[1]

Shang Di (上帝) or Tian (天) is the name of a God in Chinese community believed since a long time ago. It does not have any image, picture or statue in a form of idols. Furthermore, it is an entity that is not the same as human beings.

Chinese community understand it through characters of letters such as hanzi 上帝 and 天. Tian (天) symbolised the concept monotheism, due to the Chinese word character of hanzi for Tian (天) is a combination of two Hanzi characters which are Da (大) dan Yi ( 一). Da means the All-Mighty while Yi means Oneness. Two letters is formed for Tian which means the Sky and Heaven. It indicates the God is at the sky.

That is the reason why the ancient Chinese community worship one God and around the year 2000 BC - 800 BC, the doctrine of Shamanism and fortune teller was developed in China. Then the believes was influenced by the Taoism religion which came later on such as the usage of talisman and mantra to fight against the supernatural and binding spells in order to cure the one affected. But the earliest Taoism belief do not teach these particularly rituals.[2]

Existence of Confucianism and Taoism Philosophy

There were a lot of war and coup between small states during the classic era around 700 BC – 220 BC hence created the need towards political and strategy advice. However, they also focused on social development and the era which new leaders appeared such as Lao Zhi ( 604 BC – 531 BC) and Kongfu Zi (551 BC – 479 BC).[3]

Both of them brought their own philosophy for the purpose of social development. Both philosophy brought the believe that was well influenced even the concept of God was influenced by the concept of god in ancient Chinese community.

God term used between Lao zi and Kongfu Zi have a few differences mainly inside the form of characters letter of Hanzi and the definition of the letter. According to Lao Zi in his book entitled Dao De Ching used the term Dao (道) which indicates God.[4] Besides, according to Kongfu zi, he used the term Tian (天) inside the book to indicate God too. Both of them used the term which was used by the ancient Chinese community to described God. Even both terms for God was not made into image or idols. They believed that God is one and only.


Outside influence towards the concept of God

Buddhism came from India then entered into China and expanded around the year in 240 BC which is the era under the ruling of King Asoka in India. Buddhism remain in China in first 10 AD.[5] There are various types of Buddhism over there such as Theravada, Yogacara, Vajrayana and Mahayana.

The teachings of Lao zi and Kongzi also developed and expanded in China. Even though there was innovation in the teachings. The teaching that was brought by Lao zi or known as Taoism gave a huge impact to the shamanism doctrine which was by the ancient Chinese community while the teaching of Kongfu zi did not impacted the Shamanism influence.

Syncretism or mixing of and believed occurred in the teaching of Taoism. The evolution of Taoism from philosophy to religion in the year between 20 BC – 600 AD.

A well known Taoist figure called Zhang Daoling. He became first person who embed and strengthened the system into Taoism whereas the founder, Lao Tze did not introduced the religion system according to Zhang Daoling. Taoism made history when it became a religion through the formation of religious leader, set of rituals, scriptures and a lot of followers.

Taoism firstly became well known in the era of dynasty Han (25 AD-219 AD) when shamanism influenced was less practiced in the castle. In year 150 AD, the kings built a temple of kings specifically to performed the official ceremony as an honour towards the purification of Lao zi. Aligning with the belief on purification thus followed by the need to increase the rank of Laozi to the highest level of God.

During the era of dynasty Tang (618 AD - 907 AD), the royal family indicted the ancestry of Laozi for having the same family name, Li 李. Therefore, Taoism have achieved an official status under his ruling. Moreover, Gaozong King make Dai De Jing scriptures as one of the compulsory subject for the people who set for the public services examination.

If it is measure in terms of historical Taoism practices, the figure that is worthy to be given credit as the founder of Taoism is Zhang Daoling.[7] Zhang Ling is his real name and He was born in South of China in a place which strong shamanism was at that time.[8]

According to the legend, he succeed in finishing the whole classic text of Dao de Jing.[9]. During his adulthood, he went on exploring the Sichuan territory to undergo the ascetic life and to seek knowledge on religion. In the year 142 AD, he professed of an event that occurred which changes his life. A god appeared from the sky then came face to face with him in an awake state (yaqazhah), then gifted him with the power to do miracles and elevate his title to Tianshi (Heaven Master). The god is said to be the resemblance of Laozi and is known as the elder of the highest greatness (太上老君).

Jumping-off point from the event, Zhang Daoling have established the movement of Tianshi Dao (School of Heaven Master) in Sichuan territory. It also known as Wudoumi Dao 五斗米道 (Way of The Five Pecks of Rice) because the criteria of acceptance of a member is by giving tax five dou (1 dou =10kg) rice or items which have the same quantity.

Besides, Tianshi Dao has an well organized organization structure such as hierarchy of religious leader, record system of supernatural, talisman, moral principal, studying the classic text of Dao de Jing and etc. Furthermore, in the earliest era, it consist of twenty four states ruled under the Sichuan territory.

Under the leadership of his grandchild, Zhang Lu the movement later became militancy thus launching a rebel in the year 189 AD but they surrendered peacefully to Cao Cao (曹操). Cao Cao (曹操) was a warlord in the year (155AD – 220AD). Therefore, the movement indirectly exist until now.

Taoism brought by Zhang Daoling was easily accepted due to the fact that the people at that time are strong followers of shamanism and animism. The movement lead by Zhang Daoling have influence the Taoism we know today. As an example, the religious rituals whereby Zhang Daoling popularized the usage of talisman which is still practice until today. Usually the necklace is in the form of a yellow paper and written using Chinese characters, the meaning are kept as secret.[10]

Even the belief of worshipping gods and goddess was embedded into Taoism to a point where they included many idols, gods and goddess in their worship. Whereas the reality of earliest leader did not introduce the such practices and beliefs.

Mixing of Beliefs Occurred

Lastly, the Chinese community incorporated all four beliefs into their practices. There are times where they practice Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism and also Chinese traditional beliefs. Besides that, they also practice Feng Shui and etc.

This mixing of beliefs is called as syncretism among the religions. According to them, all the four religion is compensate with each other. If they want the understanding of philosophy and moral, they will refer to Confucianism and if they want spiritual and balance between two worlds, they will refer to Taoism. These are the way they practiced the religions until now.

Conclusion

It is recorded in history that the ancient Chinese community worship one God that does not have an image nor given birth to but later on the practiced of worshipping Gods and Goddesses were added on into Taoism. Even though, the founder himself did not introduce this way of worship. It was created by the people later on.

Lastly, Chinese community consider that all religion that exist till the classic era is important and is practiced synchronously.

WATCH ALLAH'S RIGHT ON THE HOLY QUR'AN!

"Everybody! If there are any evil attempts by the jins or people that either wanted to bother or witch us, Allah will definitely make all of their efforts end in vain. All of the bad intentions and wretched desires will eventually crumble into dust. In order for that to happen, we should practice this verse":

وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَى مَا عَمِلُوا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ هَبَاءً مَنْثُورًا

Meaning: And We will regard what they have done of deeds (what they thought was valid), and MAKE THEM AS DUST DISPERSED. (al-Furqan [25:23])

There was once this Ustaz on television shows that taught audiences "how to use" and benefit from the said verse stated above. I waited until the end of the show for the Ustaz to explain the true meaning of the verse that Allah SWT tried to convey to us. But it all ended with disappointment. The audience of the show could easily thought that "THIS IS THE VERSE TO EXPEL GHOSTS AND IS AN OBSTRUCTION FOR WITCHCRAFT." If they were asked "What is the true meaning of this verse?" Maybe a certain would answer "I don't really care, as long as I have a magic verse to expel ghosts then it is enough for me."

One day, when I ended my Commentary class there was a woman who came to me and seek for my validation on a Qur'anic verse that were said can ease lower back pain. An Ustazah once thought her the verse:

وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُمْ بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ

Meaning: "And when you strike, you strike as tyrants" (al-Syu'ara' [26:130])

"What is the back story of this verse? What did Allah wanted us to fathom and reflect on?" Those were the questions that I asked her. She then replied: "I know nothing, but the Ustazah said that this is the verse to ease lumbago."

"IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T AGREE" on the idea that Qur'an can cure you physically, but you should always put Allah's rights first when dealing with the Qur'an. What is Allah's rights in each and every verse of the Qur'an? It is so simple, we just have to truly understand the REAL MEANING and messages that Allah wanted to convey to us. Let's analyze the verses that were stated above.

THE FIRST VERSE WAS CONSIDERED AS THE VERSE THAT CAN DEMOLISH ALL OF THE ENEMIES' HORRENDOUS PLANS that came from surah al-Furqan. It told us about the charity of the non-believers that was not accepted by Allah in the Hereafter. No matter how much they did their charity, it will still be DISPERSED LIKE DUSTS. There are a few verses that addresses this issue as well:

قُلْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِالْأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَالًا (103) الَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعًا (104) أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَلِقَائِهِ فَحَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَلَا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا (105) ذَلِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُوا وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَرُسُلِي هُزُوًا (106)

Meaning: Say, (O Muhammad), "Shall we (believers) inform you of the greatest losers as to (their) deeds? (They are) those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work." Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in (their) meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance. That is their recompense - Hell - for what they denied and (because) they took My signs and My messengers in ridicule (al-Kahf [18:103-106]).

This issue can also relate to (Ali 'Imran [3:10-11, 116-117]). We may be wondering why the 23rd verse of surah al-Furqan was said it could destroy all of other people's bad intentions towards us? It turns out that we should take a long pause to relate the real meaning of the verse and the benefits of the verse that was said by the Ustaz.

THE SECOND VERSE THAT WAS SAID CAN EASE LOWER BACK PAIN is from surah al-Syu'ara' and it was about the people of 'Ad that likes to oppress other people. To fathom the said verse, we need to refer to the tale of Prophet Hud in the surah from the verse 121 until 141. This is a far more reasonable way to deal with the Qur'an. The verse tells a story about the habit of people of 'Ad that likes to oppress other people just because they were blessed with strong physiques. Allah's commandments:

أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَنْ جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْكُمْ لِيُنْذِرَكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِنْ بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَزَادَكُمْ فِي الْخَلْقِ بَسْطَةً فَاذْكُرُوا آلَاءَ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

Meaning: (Prophet Hud preach the people of 'Ad, which said): "Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and He INCREASED YOU IN STATURE EXTENSIVELY. So remember the favors of Allah that you might succeed" (al-A'raf [7:69]).

After understanding the "lumbago" verse, in "the true meaning of the verse that Allah wanted us to understand", we should make a resolution not to oppress other people with the strengths that Allah blessed us with, not reading it just to cure lower back pain.

CONCLUSION?

1) Each and every verse of the Qur'an needs to be comprehended with Allah's original contexts before we make absurd assumptions. To make that happen, we should learn and value all of the tales delivered by referring to the previous and the following verse that we highlighted. This is what people who interact with the Qur'an should do to avoid misunderstanding and preserve the Qur'an as the book of guidance (al-Baqarah[2:2]) and not just for spells and charms.

2) It is also known that verses from the Qur'an can cure us physically (Yunus [10:57], al-Isra' [17:82] & Fussilat [41:44]). It was said by theologians like Imam al-Suyuti in his book al-Itqan Fi 'Ulum al-Quran in the chapter KHAWAS AL-QUR'AN (Benefits of Qur'an). That being said, the effectiveness of a verse depends on the "quality of one's faith" like said in this story:

أن رجلا مصابًا مرَّ به عبد الله بن مسعود، فقرأ في أذنه هذه الآية: { أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لا تُرْجَعُونَ * فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ } ، حتى ختم السورة فَبَرَأ، [فذكر ذلك لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم] (5) ، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "بماذا قرأت في أذنه؟" فأخبره، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "والذي نفسي بيده، لو أن رجلا مُوقنا قرأها على جَبَل لزال".

Meaning: One day, Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud met a man that was afflicted with illness. H then, recite verses (al-Mu'minun [23:115-118]) and that man was healed. He told this story to Rasullullah SAW. The Messenger of Allah SAW said: What verse did you recite to his ears? ................ Rasulullah SAW then said, BY THE LORD'S NAME! IF A BELIEVER WHO IS TRULY CONVINCED WITH ALLAH'S POWERS AND HE THEN, READ VERSES OF THE QUR'AN TO A MOUNTAIN, THEN SURELY THE MOUNTAIN WILL EXPLODE.

3) We need to guide people how to interact with the Qur'an the right way by reading, understanding the real meaning of a verse and encourage them to always learn, do charity, have faith and taqwa to increase the effectiveness of the Qur'an for their body and soul.

Al-Quran is a holy book. Rasulullah SAW and his companions fought for Qur'an until the very end. If it is just a verse to dispel ghosts or a cure for lower back pain, then all of Rasulullah SAW and his companions sacrifices were a joke. Let's change the way we think and interact with the Qur'an because it can be an antidote FOR THE BODY AND SOUL. Later, if it is taught; this verse has a benefit of this and that, prioritize the real meaning of the verse because it is the manner of truly embracing Qur'an.

"We've got a job to do, we've still got games," Jackson said. "We can't sit and dwell on this game because we lost. Definitely, everybody's upset, but at the same time we can't do anything about it. We've got to get ready to play the next game."

The notoriously slow-starting Warriors had their best opening quarter in months, taking a 37-22 lead after one for their best start since leading Cleveland by 16 after one back on Dec. 23. That advantage was quickly erased when the Iverson and Smith found their stroke and the Warriors struggled against Denver's zone early in the second.

"All I know is zones change offenses," Karl said. "When teams zone us, I'm not sure it works but it makes us play different. It makes us play in a way we aren't 100 percent comfortable."

"Everybody knew what was at stake," Iverson said. "It's easy for players to say it's just another game. But everybody knows it wasn't just another game. It was a game that both teams felt they had to have."
