As a woman the biggest fears are
❌ Age: we are getting old but we are not there yet for what we are striving for and tend to compare with others who are living a luxurious and fabulous life
❌ Looks: being criticized for imperfect by the way how we look until we truly believe them
❌ Strength: not strong enough to handle tough situations
❌ Emotion: being led by emotions all the time
This song by Jessie J “Who you are” is so emotional and yet powerful that moved me and inspired me in my ugliest times. The courage of a singer to admit weaknesses and share vulnerability to others through music makes me know that I’m not alone on this path. Standing on the stage I wanna share to every so-called “imperfect”: “it’s okay not to be okay!” I’m always not okay, but that makes us human right?
