Third hotel quarantine in two months. 😑🔫
Definitely one of the most psychological and emotional challenge I faced in the past few years, but I start to master it 😅.
One advice? Don’t f***ing waste your time.. no matter if it’s through work, reading, workout, doing stuff you always had on the to do list.. the worst thing is to finish two weeks feeling that you have wasted your time.
It’s all about you and yourself 🧠
We did it! 🏆 1st place at the IFBB Pro League Tsunami Cup in Italy 🇮🇹 This also makes him the first ever Malaysian 🇲🇾 to qualify for Mr. Olympia. 🙌 For those of you who are familiar with bodybuilding, competing in Mr. Olympia is THE most prestigious show and a dream of many bodybuilding athletes. 💪🏽

Since the first day I got to know him, he’s always told me that his goal is to be the first Malaysian to go to Olympia. It felt like a tough journey and sometimes almost impossible. We had to travel far for every show as there aren’t as many shows in Asia compared to Europe or the US, and honestly it would cost a lot every time.

Since covid happened, he has not competed in 2 years as we can’t travel out. Planning this trip and getting all the approvals took us more than 2 months but he was determined that he wanted to go for it. And so we did, one step at a time, not knowing what to expect.
.
Winning this competition didn’t come without its own hurdles. Literally an hour before the competition, he had a really bad back spasm and he could not even walk. He was lying down on the floor and the organisers were so concern they wanted to call the ambulance and take him to the hospital. Of course, he refused. But the pain was getting worse and there’s no way he could perform on stage. I mean he could not even stand straight and flex his abs. Nothing was showing. 😑

Somehow, he met 3 of his fans while going to the toilet and they rushed to the pharmacy to get some pain killers. Thank god the show was also delayed by 2 hours. That gave him time to slowly recover and somehow he managed to perform his best.

Sometimes, when things are meant to be and when you put the effort and visualise what you want, the universe has its way to challenge you but also align everything for you. One thing we also say to each other is do your best in everything you set your mind to, and remember to have fun! Otherwise, what’s the point?

The second collaboration piece with @呉竹Kuretake , this time painted using their Kuretake Gansai Tambi 48 "顔彩耽美" colors set! This was an exciting challenge to try - I want to get better at painting trees and especially thick forest-like scenes like this one. This picture had only really light underdrawing and no lines.

This is also my entry to the #worldwatercolormonth2021 ! I will not be doing all the prompts, but let's say that this piece is for the "breathe" prompt.
We were recently able to go to a Japanese garden that's located really close to our house. It was temporarily closed due to the pandemic, but it opened when the stricter rules were lifted (now, if you want to go, you have to reserve a ticket - this prevents crowds.) On the day we went, it rained a lot in the morning - we had an excellent storm for the first time this summer - so the green of the plants was intensive! I took a lot of photos and tried my best to recreate this humid and green atmosphere.

I filmed an ASMR video with my sister!!!

My sister was so nervous because she was standing in front of the camera for the first time🥺 Please watch over with love and care🥺
I was wondering what kind of ASMR video I would take with my sister, and I thought she should be able to film without being too nervous if she just whispered!
but… when she saw the camera, lighting equipment, and microphone for the first time, she was so nervous that she got stuck like a robot🤖
She was so nervous that she couldn't even whisper, so I played word game "Shiritori" with her halfway through haha
That's right 😂 I was too accustomed to the abnormal environment and could not consider my sister who was filming for the first time 😂😂
I'm used to the camera now and can relax and film, but you're usually nervous because you don't whisper to the camera 🤣
After filming, I realized that my sister had a very difficult challenge !!!
After that, I was happy to hear the words from my sister saying "It was fun 😆" 💕
I usually film alone, but it was twice as fun to film with my sister ~ 😍
