วันที่ 4 มิถุนายน 2562 เวลา 13.30 น. นายแผน วรรณเมธี เลขาธิการสภากาชาดไทย เป็นประธานในพิธิเปิดงานแถลงข่าววันผู้บริจาคโลหิตโลก 2562 ภายใต้สโลแกน “Safe blood for all – โลหิตปลอดภัยทั้งผู้ให้และผู้รับ เพื่อเป็นวันขอบคุณผู้บริจาคโลหิต ซึ่งจัดขึ้นในวันเสาร์ที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2562 เวลา 08.00 – 16.00 น. ณ ศูนย์บริการโลหิตแห่งชาติ โดยมี นาวาโทหญิง แพทย์หญิงอุบลวัณณ์ จรูญเรืองฤทธิ์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์บริการโลหิตแห่งชาติ ร่วมแถลงข่าว ทั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติ จากศิลปินกลุ่ม Plus อาทิ บี๋ - คณาคำ อภิรดี , จอย - ศิริลักษณ์ ผ่องโชค และปราโมทย์ วิเลปะนะ ร่วมขับร้องเพลงแห่งการให้ “โลกหมุนด้วยน้ำใจ” โอกาสนี้ นาวาโทหญิง แพทย์หญิงอุบลวัณณ์ จรูญเรืองฤทธิ์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์บริการโลหิตแห่งชาติ คุณจอย ศิริลักษณ์ ผ่องโชค ดารานักแสดง และ คุณนพรัตน์ วงศ์สินหิรัญ ผู้บริจาคโลหิตและส่วนประกอบโลหิต ตัวแทนผู้บริจาคโลหิต ร่วมเสวนาในหัวข้อ “โลหิตปลอดภัยทั้งผู้ให้ และผู้รับ” และพิธีรับมอบเสื้อยืดวันผู้บริจาคโลหิตโลก 2562 จากหน่วยงานผู้สนับสนุน ณ ห้องจุมภฎ ชั้น 9 อาคารเฉลิมพระเกียรติบรมราชินีนาถ ศูนย์บริการโลหิตแห่งชาติ สภากาชาดไทย

Mr. Phan Wannamethee, Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross presided over the opening ceremony of the World Blood Donor Day 2562 under the slogan "Safe blood for all” for thanks to blood donors. Held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 08.00 - 16.00 hrs. at the National Blood Centre, with Dr.Ubonwan Charoonruangrit, Director of the National Blood Centre join the press conference.The group of Plus Artists, such as as Bee Kanakam, Joy Sirilak and Pramote Vilepana,
sing a song of giving "The world rotates with kindness"This opportunity, Dr.Ubonwan Charoonruangrit, Director of the National Blood Centre,Ms.Sirilak Phongchoke, an actress, Ms.Nopparat Wongsinhiran, blood donor and blood component discussion on the topic slogan "Safe blood for all” and the ceremony to receive the T-shirt for the World Blood Donor Day, 2019 from the sponsor at National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society.
