Mengalum Island is situated 35 miles (56 km) North-West of Kota Kinabalu, it’s a remote tropical island paradise surrounded with white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters. It is a destination for those who want to relax in total tranquility and appreciates seafood. The waters off Mengalum known for its rich and diverse marine life is a renown deep sea fishing ground and a fishing location for the annual Sabah International Fishing Tournament, an off-shore fishing competition that promotes the sport and also aims to encourage conservation of marine resources.

环滩岛（Mengalum Island）是马来西亚沙巴州首府亚庇西北部海域的一个小岛，面积1000英亩，最短直线距离1.8公里，最宽是4.5公里。环滩岛因其形状酷似圆环而得名，因为戒指的形状也是圆环，所以很多情侣和新婚夫妻愿意选择到该岛度假、旅行，寓意爱情完美圆满、长长久久。人少沙白，水质清澈～从亚庇码头坐快艇，大约1小时15分钟左右即抵达。
