I guess now is not a good time to travel overseas, especially if you have kids. I had wanted to plan for a short family trip during the March school holidays but eventually, the hubby and I felt that it was best for us to just remain on our island until the virus situation gets better.

Nonetheless, not being able to travel doesn't mean that we stop having fun altogether. In fact, I would prefer that our lives go on as usual even in precarious times like this as long as we are being socially responsible and practising good personal hygiene. So, what's the next best thing apart from an overseas vacation? Well, a STAYCATION, of course!

We had a family getaway last weekend and explored Park Hotel Clarke Quay for the first time. In fact, I think this was our first time staying in Clarke Quay area and I have to say we totally loved the location. You can take a stroll along Singapore River, play in Fort Canning Park, dine in Clarke Quay, and if you wish to venture further, the MRT station is just a stone's throw away. Here's sharing more about our experience and how you can do the same too during the March holidays.

P.S. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food served at Porta SG so do hop by if you are in the area too.

For those who like to dining along the idyllic Singapore River, many are familar with PORTA Fine Food & Import Company which is located at Park Hotel Clarke Quay. This all-day bistro offers modern European cuisine with flavours that many of us are familiar with. Recently, the restaurant has revamped its menu and for those with the love for whisky, you will be thrilled to find out that Porta will be collaborating with Auchentoshan Whisky on the evenings of 14 - 16 June!

Day 1: 星加坡去馬來西亞 KSL酒店

搭飛機去星加坡要大約4個鐘，好快就過啦！出發之前記住買電話卡，深水埗有架啦，HK$150 有7gig 數據data，夠晒啦！
仲有記住之前要book車！因為我哋一行7人，所以book咗架大啲嘅車。都好抵啊，星加坡去馬來西亞大約 HK$500。司機都識講中文，所以都好方便！KSL 酒店都好得！房間夠大，都好乾淨！我哋租咗 Residence 嗰邊，有廚房，有客廳，但係房無 wifi。價錢大約 HK$500 一晚啦。

Day 2: KSL 恐龍水上樂園 + Angry Bird 公園

因為入住KSL酒店，就有得免費去個商場嘅恐龍水上樂園。講真，如果要俾錢，咁就唔係好值得。好細架咋！一眼睇晒！不過如果係免費，咁其實都幾好玩！睇下個video又乜玩啦！ 玩完水，返酒店換衫就出發去 Angry Bird Park。搭的士大概 RM$20，酒店會幫你截的士架啦，好方便！Angry Bird Park係喺個商場嘅頂樓。去到肚餓，見到有 TONY ROMA's 喎！好耐冇食過啦，香港執晒，又可以食佢啲好好味嘅 ribs 嚕！嘢！真係好味，同好抵食，service 又好，值得試試啦！

去 Angry Bird Park，60歲以上或3歲以下係免費架！記得帶passport 俾佢check ！去玩嚕！有乜玩？睇下個video啦！好玩！

Day 3: Legoland Water Park + Legoland 酒店

由 KSL 酒店去 Legoland，7人的士大概要30分鐘，好似係 RM$50 左右。去到梗係玩 water park 先啦，因為真係好熱！要浸浸水 cool down 下！ 其實 Legoland water Park 好細，一個上晝就玩得晒，但係好似我哋咁，有咁多小朋友，咁就要玩耐啲。我哋大概又 11am 玩到 4pm ，之後就啱啱好時間 check in !

晚餐我哋本來想去天來海鮮，但係 Closed for today。所以司機叔叔話去 『蔡記』Chau Kee 海鮮。Video 有食評！好好味，又好抵食！

返酒店差唔多 9點。間房好可愛！小朋友一定鍾意！值得住下嘅！最正就係個lobby有無限嘅lego 玩！玩到唔願瞓，唔願走！嗰晚玩到11pm 先肯訓！仲有每間房都有寶物箱，有乜送？睇下video 啦～ 好似話以前係送劍架，而家無嚕！ :(

Day 4: Legoland + 返星加坡

Legoland 好啱4至8歲玩，細啲會唔夠高，大啲又好似好唔刺激。所以 Brandon 5歲就最開心！Wesley 就玩住啲bb 嘢先啦！好多嘢玩，唔講啦，自己睇video啦！
大約4點幾我哋就book坐車返星加坡嚕！超唔捨得！Legoland 真係好好玩呢！

Day 5: Clarke Quay + 星加坡動物園 + 松發肉骨茶

一朝起身，好想食 Kaya 多士！所以就去最近嘅阿坤！好好味呢！大約 HK$24 一個套餐，多士加杯薏米水。食完早餐就坐 uber 去玩嚕。uber 係好方便，尤其是我哋咁多人，一架的士載唔晒！ :(

去星加坡一定會帶啲小朋友嚟動物園，多動物，地方又大又舒服！雖然好熱，但係好值得嘅！睇片啦！

玩到6幾，超肚餓啦！今晚去試下 Chinatown 嘅松發肉骨茶！要排隊，但係都好快，等咗15分鐘到。排隊嘅時候有人幫你落埋 order ，一坐低就有得食！好味！

最後一站更係要食榴槤！去咗榴槤街，求其揀咗間最光猛嘅 『旺德福』去試下。超鍾意佢個名！哈哈！Wonderful！榴槤好食，不過都喺馬来西亞食抵好多！

Day 6: 發起人肉骨茶 + 返香港

琴晚餐肉骨茶好正，所以想試多間。我哋揀咗發起人，佢係 Lavender 站附近 （Boss Hotel）開咗間新分店，聽講好hit架，多明星捧場！好啦，試味先。嗯嗯嗯。。。 我哋都係覺得松發好味啲。 睇 video 有評語！之後隔離有天天海南雞飯，去試埋佢啦！ Well， 我覺得冇乜特別，香港嘅仲好味～ :)
