預計於2020年3月19日推出的8 位元復刻懷舊主機「PC Engine mini」在日前請來遊戲創作者&小說家「渡邊浩貳」展示了收錄的58款遊戲簡介，包含了34款日文版遊戲與24款英文版遊戲，雖然有些也很經典的遊戲沒有收錄，但10500日圓的售價也算誠意滿滿了，尤其是有當時高價附加CD-ROM的遊戲《天外魔境 II 卍丸》，小小滿足只能看別人玩的羨慕感。

PC Engine mini 收錄遊戲追加！新增了《源平討魔傳》、《龍魂》等來自 NAMCO 的遊戲，以及PCE SUPER CD-ROM 代表大作《天外魔境II》，共 8 款追加收錄作品！(歐美版沒收錄《天外魔境II》，僅新增7款)
因為收錄陣容中有 5 款是日版美版重複收錄，因此 PC Engine mini 實質的收錄遊戲共為 53 款，歐美版主機則為 52 款。(若是把《伊蘇I&II》算兩款的話，則總數再加一)
總之，日本版與歐美版主機除了外觀的主要差異如下：
1. 《純愛手札》、《天外魔境II》僅於日本版收錄。
2. 《沙羅曼蛇》僅於歐美版收錄。
3. 《鬼屋》(Splatterhouse)於日版主機收錄日版遊戲、歐美版主機收錄美版遊戲，不像其他遊戲在各版本主機均收錄相同版本。
4. 日版主機附屬的手把為初期版手把、歐美版附屬的手把為連發手把。
另外，在最新宣傳影片的最後，也展示了一段因為放入較低版本系統卡而無法正常遊玩需要較新版系統卡遊戲的警告畫面，PC Engine mini 的製作團隊有想到要還原這個畫面，我覺得還滿細心的。
《零翼戰機》（日語：ゼロウィング，英語：Zero Wing）是一款1989年捲軸射擊街機遊戲，遊戲由東亞企劃開發，太東發行。玩家將扮演一個孤膽英雄，將宇宙從邪惡勢力中拯救出來。
遊戲曾在街機平台取得了一定的成功，其後又由東亞企劃移植於Mega Drive並於1991年5月31日在日本發售，而在次年則由世嘉在歐洲發售。隨後Naxat Soft將其制於PC Engine CD-ROM，並僅於1992年9月18日在日本發售。

《MAD STALKER FULLMETALFORTH》是 1994 年針對 MD 開發的橫向卷軸動作遊戲，在諸多因素之下沒有完成。如今則是在當年負責開發的今泉正稔的監修下，由在懷舊遊戲復刻領域活躍的 Ryu Takegami 組成的團隊將未完成的部分加以補完，並請到作曲家与猶啓至負責作曲，讓這款塵封 26 年的遊戲得以問世。
該遊戲最初是 1994 年 1 月在 X68000 上推出，同年 7 月與 9 月分別移植到 FM TOWNS 與 PC Engine Arcade CD-ROM^2 推出。原本有計畫推出 MD 版，但當時因為 ROM 晶片價格高漲之故而取消上市

《夢幻戰士II》（日語：夢幻戦士ヴァリスII，英語：Valis: The Fantasm Soldier II）是日本通訊網路於1989年間所發行的橫向捲軸動作遊戲，在個人電腦與PC Engine主機都有移植版本，開發團隊是狼組。
本作是1986年發行的《夢幻戰士》的正式後繼作品。隨者MSX等電腦主機版本發行後，PC Engine主機版本也在1989年發行。本作挾者超人氣聲優島本須美替女主角麻生優子配音與精美動畫音樂的雙重組合下，在當時創下了令人亮眼的語音震撼，極具創意的表現讓夢幻戰士II成為PC CD-ROM主機黎明時期的超級大作與動作遊戲名作，而麻生優子則被稱為PC Engine主機世代永遠的偶像。

reigned as Master of the world of video games, a publisher
named Hudson Soft, and an electronic Magnate named NEC joined
together to create a system of avant-garde electronics in
spired by the universe of Micro PCs... As such the PC Engine
(TurboGrafx-16 in North America) was born.
