Debating is not just about winning trophies & cash prizes,
it's a lifestyle.

Critical thinking, Public Speaking, Discipline, reading habit etc

Debating taught me to be a global citizen.

Debating taught me that our lives are intertwined with one another.

When we speak passionately about justice, reforms & politics in debate-land, it should not stop there.

When given the chance, we should carry that idealism & passion in the real world.

This photo was taken at the airport immediately after i got back from the UK, after serving as the Co-Chief Judge of the Cambridge IV.

I was banned from attending my graduation/convocation from law school due to Politics as i was a co-founder of BERSATU, a political party threathening the ruling government then.

While i was in the UK, my parents called me in a panic mode, as Police officers rushed to our family home at 2-3am, looking for me.

The Inspector General of the Police then, on Live TV, said that i will be investigated under the sedition act for my writings.

This photo will always be in my memory as i couldn't attend my graduation, so my parents hosted a mini-graduation ceremony at the airport.

I also was able to convince the Police that i'll give full cooperation & there was no need to take me in, in front of my parents.

I will never forget the positive values i learned from debating.

Justice, equity, tolerance, hardwork, perseverence and many more.

When we are faced with threats or lucrative offers to woe us away from our struggle, we must remain steadfast in defending our principles.

This is our Malaysia,
