บ.จีน ขออนุมัติวัคซีนโควิด Pfizer-BioNTech เตรียมเป็นวัคซีนนอกจีนรายแรกที่ใช้ในจีน / ปธ.สมาคมอุตสาหกรรมวัคซีนจีน

หลังจากก่อนหน้านี้มีข่าวออกมาว่าทางผอ.ศูนย์ป้องกันและควบคุมโรค (CDC) ของจีน มีแผนนำวัคซีนโควิดแบบอื่นนอกเหนือจากแบบเชื้อตาย (inactivated vaccine) ที่จีนใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบันเป็นหลัก มาใช้ร่วมด้วยเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการป้องกันโควิด อย่างวัคซีนแบบ mRNA

Fosun Pharma บริษัทลูกของ Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group บริษัทยารายใหญ่ในจีน เป็นบริษัทจีนที่กำลังดำเนินการพัฒนาวัคซีนโควิด mRNA : Pfizer - BioNTech โดยFosun ร่วมมือกับ BioNTech บริษัทประเทศเยอรมนี (ที่เรียกวัคซีนว่า Pfizer-BioNTech เพราะ BioNTech ร่วมพัฒนากับ Pfizer ด้วย) โดย Fosun เคยประกาศไว้ว่าจะนำเข้าไปในจีน 100 ล้านโดส

ล่าสุด GlobalTimes สื่อจีนรายใหญ่ที่ถูกมองว่าเป็นสื่อกระบอกเสียงทางการจีน ได้เผยข้อมูลจากวงในที่อ้างว่าเป็นแหล่งข่าวใกล้ชิด Fosun Pharma มีใจความสำคัญประมาณนี้

- Fosun Pharma ได้ยื่นเรื่องพร้อมส่งรายงานผลทดลองทางคลินิกไปให้กับทางการจีนเพื่อตรวจสอบเรียบร้อยแล้ว

- ผลทดลองทางคลินิกที่ส่งไป ประกอบด้วย ผลการทดลองทางคลินิกเฟส 2 ในกลุ่มอาสาสมัคร 960 คน โดยส่วนใหญ่ ครึ่งหนึ่งเป็นผู้สูงอายุ ระหว่าง 55 - 85 ปี และอีกผลการทดลองหนึ่ง เป็นผลการทดลองทางคลินิกเฟส 3 ที่ทดลองในต่างประเทศ

หากทางการจีนอนุมัติ ที่ Fosun ยื่นเรื่องในครั้งนี้ จะถือว่า "วัคซีน Pfizer-BioNTech" เป็นวัคซีนที่ผลิตโดยต่างประเทศวัคซีนตัวแรกที่นำเข้าไปในจีนแผ่นดินใหญ่

นอกเหนือจากวัคซีน Pfizer-BioNtech สองบริษัทจีน อย่าง Suzhou Abogen Biosciences และ Walvax Biotechnology ก็ได้ร่วมกันผลิตวัคซีน mRNA แบบผลิตในประเทศจีน ซึ่งมีแผนทดลองทางคลินิกเฟสที่ 2 ในต่างประเทศ ช่วงเดือนหน้า (พฤษภาคม) และคาดว่าจะถูกนำมาใช้จริงได้สิ้นปีนี้ (2021)

ทั้งนี้ Feng Duojia ประธานสมาคมอุตสาหกรรมวัคซีนจีน (China Vaccine Industry Association) ระบุว่า

"จีนมีความจำเป็นต้องใช้วัคซีนจากต่างประเทศด้วย ไม่ใช่แค่วัคซีนในจีน เพื่อเพิ่มทางเลือกให้แก่ชาวต่างชาติในจีนที่มีจำนวนไม่น้อยในจีน"

" เนื่องจากชาวต่างชาติต้องการวัคซีนของนอกจีนมากกว่าจีน เวลากลับไปยังบ้านเกิดของพวกเขา เพราะต้องยอมว่า มันเป็นสากลและได้รับการยอมรับ (Recognition) ง่ายกว่าของจีน และยังช่วยให้วงกว้างรับรู้ว่า จีนแคร์ต่างชาตินะ มันส่งผลดีต่อโอกาสเปิดรับต่างชาติเข้าจีนในอนาคต โดยเฉพาะการจัดการกีฬาโอลิมปิกฤดูหนาวที่กรุงปักกิ่งเป็นเจ้าภาพในปีหน้า 2022"
