WERE YOU A WEIRD KID TOO?
A lovely old friend who knew me from primary school shared that I'd always been a... different kind of kid. As many of you here were!
I wrote poems about the Japanese Occupation in Primary 2, and was constantly creating clubs for all things whimsical. Faeries. Mermaids. The Romanovs (lol). Princesses. She's always been someone whose opinion I respected, so I was touched to hear that she thought this.
But then, also... I remember being ostracised by other kids at school for being different. One of the phrases consistently used by most of my teachers to refer to me was "airy fairy". "up in the clouds". I was WARNED to try and be less so, by a well meaning teacher, who told me the staffroom had been talking about me. I remember always feeling like a heart shaped peg made to fit into a square hole. I'm sure many of us felt this way.
I treasure the rare, perceptive few teachers who understood this simple truth: that different kids have different strengths.
Was tasked to create a project about the heliocentric model of the universe. Wrote a ditty about Copernicus. My physics teacher played it proudly for the class & featured it in the science fair. In uni, was tasked to write projections about the future of genetics. Turned in a dystopian novella. My biomolecular science prof sent a copy to the whole class to read. And my humanities teachers & profs always made us arts kids feel like we were seen & acknowledged & RESPECTED, in a system that often didn't.
What I'm trying to say is: encourage kids to thrive in the way they do best. Don't stifle creativity and don't write off innovative imagination as impracticality or dysfunction. Our world is going to need a GENERATION of unique thinkers to creatively problem-solve the world we've left for them to inherit. Today's dreamer may become tomorrow's pioneer, or humanitarian, or healer, or world leader, or tech genius. Or maybe even... mermaid flunkey? 😂you never know. You really never know.

Waheguru God Lord Allah.
Are this His real name. ?
If yes and all created us..then why are we the same..why don't we look different then one another..we all have same physics, we have the same life and death and reproduction cycle going on since about 400k years since homo sapiens existent.
Why we refer always to HIM, it's possible that HIM could be HER, or maybe there's no gender...
If , if we are meant to be praying in all various methods and follow the rituals of a particular religion, then why are we always need to do so much where at time the same religion mentioned about faith luck and destiny..
Are we really on this beautiful earth to be doing this..?
This is my view which I learned from reading Guru Nanak Dev history and quotes,
"you are born as a human,
You will die as a human.
Be a good human for another human, animal & earth...
Only then you should be thinking of worshipping to your God.
Guru Nanak Dev,
A man with normal life and great thinker with beautiful sole in an innocent human, all his life he thought everyone the real meaning of life and our purpose of being here..
He did not ever asked for anyone to worship to him..
But sadly..upon his death..he was acclaimed to be their religion personal by each of the religion presents there.
Today is a world where you are always not able to ask the leaders about it and it's a sensitive issue and always not discussed.
Anyways..I hope all of them get blessed one day.
Thanks for reading.

3. I am dead afraid of heights.
4. I actually started YouTube-ing as a musician. It was my testing pad for learning recording programs and a bit of video.
5. I love writing. But I HATE reading. Doesn't mean I don't read - I just don't pick up a book for fun. It has to REALLY interest me.
6. I love everything about people. I wouldn't have minded being a psych.
7. If it wasn't YouTube, I wanted to be a gamer. I started playing video games at 5.
8. Taking pictures isn't natural to me. I had to learn to be fine with it. Videos are fine tho. I have no idea why.
9. I. Love. Cheesecake. Or cheese. Or dairy products.
10. One physical thing that attracts me about girls - their hair. Long "messy" hair is a plus.
11. I love physics and chemistry but I hate bio.
12. I hated going to school when I was young.
13. I believe in the talent of being hardworking.
14. I'm short sighted. And I don't wear my glasses around because I can STILL see. But if ur anywhere more than 5-7 feet away - I can't see your face.
