怎麼奇摩字典裏的定義，沒有這一項？
拾起
The boy picked up the hat for the old man.
男孩替老人拾起了帽子。
收拾
You should pick up the tools after work.
工作結束後應該把工具收拾好。
學到;獲得
He was picking up the skills quickly.
他正在很快地掌握技術。
【口】把上(新男友或女友),釣(馬子,凱子)
Nowadays girls try to pick up guys more than vice versa.
這年頭啊是女孩想把男孩,而不是男孩追女孩。

那，「接人」到底要怎麼說啊？

查了朗文的Dictionary of Contemporary English（英英）
「pick up」有一條「let sb. into a vehicle」（讓人進入車、船等交通工具）
遠東的新世紀英漢辭典也有
「pick up」有「以車搭載、以車去迎接（人）」之意
（例：I'll pick you up at your hotel.)
而網路上Webster's Online Dictionary
https://www.websters-online-dictionary.org/definition/pick+up
也有載人、接人之意（見3）
所以也可以當「接人」吧！

因為看到有這項定義，所以不敢對女生亂用pick you up啊…

不知道老外一聽到這個片語的直覺是怎麼想…
