Did you know the male Proboscis monkeys use their big fleshy nose to attract their mates and at the same time to intimidate the rival males? Proboscis monkeys live in harem groups consisting of only one dominant male and up to seven females and their offspring. Next time you see them in the wild, you now know which one is the alpha male in the group. 😉
