A place where millions of people live alone together— the city.

During the busy and constant labor all day and night, we have fewer opportunities to talk to ourselves. The sudden epidemic has opened a door to calm our hearts and let us rethink our relationship with the world.

In the 1970s, urbanism rises in Taiwan, bidding farewell to the landscape of an agricultural society. In addition to skyscrapers, the meaning of the city also produces a certain kind of violent acceleration on our bodies. Before we could face all kinds of unpleasant questions, we quickly escape with the acceleration.

The city seems to be bustling and lively, but in fact it’s a series of stranger encounters unexpectedly. Trying to accompany each other is reduced to their
own mumbling with obscure social distance. They trying to escape from restlessness and distress for a short time; rising the conflict between governance practice and the sense of freedom. The closed, lonely cycle of labor faintly affects the changes of modern cities, and so on.

The people who live here are trying to learn how to coexist with it.

In A Dark Cloud of Sorrow Looms Over, we invite eight artists. The age difference between them is about 20 years old. We are trying to figure out in this big era,how people among different age groups to re-understand and break through the urban conditions of survival and change.



幾百萬人一起孤獨生活的地方-------都市。


沒日沒夜的繁忙，不斷勞動的過程中我們少了與自己對話的機會，突如其來的疫情，像開啟了一扇靜心的大門，反思我們與世界之間的關係。


1970年代台灣興起都市主義，揮別過往的農業景觀，其意義除了建築摩天高樓外，不外乎產生某種劇烈加速度於我們的身體，各種不適的提問還未面對，就隨著加速度快步的逃逸。


城市貌似繁華熱鬧卻只是意外地與一切陌異、他者的肉身遭逢；試圖相伴卻淪為各自的喃喃自語、不成文的特殊社交距離；嘗試短暫逃離不安及困頓的慾望；興起的治理實踐與自由意識的衝突；在封閉與寂寥的循環勞動，隱隱牽動著現代化城市的變遷等......


生存於此的人們，正試圖學習如何與它共存。

「籠罩下的巨大哀愁」一展邀請八位藝術家，之間年紀落差20來歲，我們試圖整出一個大時代下不同年齡層中，面對生存與變動的都市景況是如何重新理解及突破。

There has been a lot of darkness surrounding us lately. From the the seemingly everlasting pandemic, the murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Daunte Wright, and countless black bodies throughout our history, to the uprise of violence and vitriol against our AAPI community, many of us feel hopeless in this darkness. However, as activist Valerie Kaur once asked, "What if this is not the darkness of the tomb but the darkness of the womb?" We try our best in these times to shine a light but it's hard to do it alone. Today, I'm honored to premiere "TOGETHER", a project that came together very quickly but carried so much meaning to me. For months, I've felt helpless in many ways but now, I’ve found my way to channel my energy to help carry the stories of our past and try to uplift our communities for the future. For this video, we decided to head down to Holey Moley to tackle their 1 METRE PIZZA SOLO! Holey Moley is bar attached to a mini golf course located at Clarke Quay where you can drink and play golf to your pleasure. We heard that they offer 1 metre long pizzas from Shi Rong (@snowclock), a previous guest, and decided to head down there to try it for ourselves. Apart from Zermatt, Mervin and Rachel (@boyeon_aa), also a previous guest, tag teamed a 1 metre pizza.

Each 1 metre pizza ($58) is comprised of 3 of their smaller pizzas, meaning you get to choose up to 3 different toppings. For my pizza, I chose Cheese and Thank You, The Beeferoni and Mutherclucker, which were basically a magherita, a pepperoni and a spicy chicken respectively. They are presented atop a long wooden board that has ruler-like markings to indicate the 1 metre length.

The pizza was not thick-crusted as I thought it would be, but thin and crispy. It had a balanced ratio of sauce to toppings to crust, with none of the components overwhelming the others. The Mutherclucker came the most loaded with toppings, while the Cheese and Thank You was the simplest. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the Cheese and Thank You the most, with it being straightforward enough for the quality of the ingredients used to shine through. For a challenge, it was also the lightest, although flavour fatigue kicked in quickly regardless.

I completed this 1 Metre Pizza Challenge in just under 23 minutes. Mervin and Rachel could not in 36 minutes. Holey Moley is a great place for you to head down with a group of friends to drink, play golf and devour pizzas measured by metre rulers. If you are feeling up to the challenge, you can attempt to do it solo, although it is no easy feat. They also offer a giant Gold Impossible Burger and have many alcoholic beverages stocked. Do visit Holey Moley for a genuinely enjoyable and multifaceted experience!

Warhammer Underworlds is a tactical arena combat game. This is a system designed for balanced, small-scale tactical games that can be played quickly and easily by anyone, but which even experienced players will find challenging to master. The game rules are designed with competitive play in mind; matches can be played in under 45 minutes, on a smaller surface than our larger-scale games, and will be ideal for club or tournament play. And not only that, we’ll be fully supporting an organized play system for this game, right from day one.

The forces you can use in this game will be drawn from races across the Mortal Realms, including some for factions that have not received any new miniatures since we first ventured into the Age of Sigmar. Each of these sets will be composed of a small band of easy-to-assemble, push-fit miniatures in the style of our single-pose heroes to represent a specific band of warriors from that faction. These are provided in coloured plastic, and clip together, so you can quite literally be playing with them within minutes of opening the box with no glue or paint needed! (Though they do look great painted, and your dice will roll better – probably.)

The game is played using unique dice and card decks, and these will, to an extent, be unique to each faction. Both decks of cards used in the game are fully customisable – meaning you can choose to create all manner of combinations of overlapping abilities to use and objectives to achieve. This can be a really rewarding part of the game – and means that even the same faction can be played in wildly different ways. We’re expecting to see all sorts of combinations tried out at game stores, clubs and in tournaments.

●12:56－阿滴的攻擊擲骰是1爆擊、1鎚、1劍，粒方的雖然也1爆擊，但比較完爆擊後，要比較一般成功的數量。索奧奇的攻擊行動是成功符號是鎚，阿滴還有1鎚，粒方已經沒有其他成功骰，所以該該次的攻擊行動是成功的。
●15:38－野獸人的激勵條件是敵方戰幫有兩名或更多鬥士陣亡，而不是全場。不過這是官方中文版本身印刷的問題（英文是正確的）。
