毛筆 writing brush
不是網友問我，初學書法的話應該用什麼毛的毛筆。一般來說，我喜歡用兼毛筆，即使有兼備軟毛及硬毛的毛筆。市面上能買到的通常以羊毛及兔毛或黃鼠狼毛來製成。軟毛能儲墨，硬毛提供彈性。以兼毛筆來練習小楷及中楷可謂理想不過。
If you would like to start learning Chinese calligraphy, choosing a suitable writing brush will be the foremost thing to do. I would recommend you to buy a mixed hair brush which combing both soft and hard hair. Goat hair is soft and good at ink absorption, while rabbit hair and weasel hair are hard and could provide resilience for the bristles. Small and medium size mixed hair brushes are ideal for beginners to write small to medium Chinese character.
