Wow! We are so excited that the schedule and circuits for the 2016 TCSA season has been announced, and in 2016, we will be adding two new tracks to the calendar, as well as some old favourites.
In September, shortly after a weekend racing on the same race-card as the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) at Twin Ring Motegi, we travel to the north of Japan to the iconic Sportsland Sugo circuit. This 3.73km track was constructed in 1975 and is owned by Yamaha. Each year it hosts events such as the All Japan Road Race Championship series for motorcycles through to the world-renowned Super GT Championship for cars.
After Japan, TCSA travels north again, this time to Japan’s close neighbour, South Korea and to the KIC (Korea International Circuit) - built in 2010, this track is famous for hosting F1 and its 5.6 kilometers will provide plenty of challenges for our cars and drivers!
We will also be returning to one of our favourite tracks, the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, as well as two circuits we used for the first time last year – Twin Ring Motegi in Japan and Chang International Circuit, Buriram in northern Thailand.
The full season calendar is as follows:
7月23-24日 寶利林 泰國 Buriram, Thailand
8月6-7日 雪邦 馬來西亞 Sepang, Malaysia
9月3-4日 Motegi 日本 茂木 Japan
9月10-11日 仙台 日本 Sugo, Japan
10月22-23日 KIC 韓國 KIC Korea
July 23-24: Chang International Circuit, Buriram (Thailand)
August 6-7: Sepang International Circuit, Sepang (Malaysia)
September 3-4: Twin Ring Motegi, Motegi (Japan)
September 10-11: Sportsland Sugo, Sendai (Japan)
October 22-23: Korea International Circuit, Yeongam (South Korea)
2016 promises to be a really exciting year for TCSA with new tracks, cars and drivers... It will be awesome, in fact we couldn't help jump for joy!

Remembering Bangsaen 2015 - Marshals prepare the track for the start of racing on the Sunday the last day of the Speed Festival. The Bangsaen track like some of the most famous circuits in the world, Monac and Macau is a street circuit which means each day the track needs to be prepared for racing. This means a very early start each day for the officials to get the circuit ready each morning. Here the marshals are using putting in place concrete blocks at turn 1.
