台灣內山有一條美麗的公路。歡迎來到台灣~這條路被稱為「浪漫台三線」，相當的獨特。我是林柏妤 我熱愛旅行，也喜歡在台灣趴趴走。今天，我來到了「流東社區」，是浪漫台三線上的一個客家村~「流東社區」位於苗栗縣頭份鎮，這個小農村的人口平均年齡七十五歲，但這裡的人相信即使時代變了，只要大家有心，農村可以再創新風貌，傳統一樣可以延續。
In the mountains of Taiwan there’s a scenic road.Welcome to Taiwan.This road, known as “Hakka Romantic Avenue” for its unique views.I am Poyu Lin.I love to travel,love wandering around Taiwan.Today, I’m in Liudong Community, a little town on the Hakka Romantic Avenue!Liudong Community is in Toufen Township, Miaoli County. The average age of its residents is 75 years old, but despite the changing times, the people here believe that with heart, they can give their town a new look while carrying on its long traditions.
這裡，是流東的「客家大院」，這棟翻新重建的傳統客家建築，然而你能想像，這裡原本是個破舊不堪的豬舍。好有韻味的地方哦!我們當時,在把這個豬舍拆掉的時候，我們的想法就是，希望把一件，客家傳統的建築物再重現。客家大院落成後，成為凝聚當地居民情感的場所，也是居民藝術創作的展示據點。紀錄生活是流東社區傳承文化的方式，是不是令人讚嘆，居民們如此用心為家鄉努力？是一種恬適的滋味。
This is Liudong’s main hall, which was renovated using traditional Hakka construction methods. Can you imagine that all this used to be an old, run-down pigsty!What the great space.At the outset,we removed the pigsty, have an idea,hope to reproduce, the traditional Hakka architecture.After its renovation was completed, the hall became a center of the community and a place for displaying arts and crafts by local residents.Recording everyday life is the way culture is passed down in Liudong Community. Isn’t it moving to see the work these locals do on behalf of their hometown?It has honey aroma inside.
而這塊土地，能更增添豐富與精采，基於藝術家唐鴉與妻子返鄉了。不好意思，打擾了。小時候，我們這個曬穀場，就非常多的螢火蟲，離鄉沒幾年，全部螢火蟲也都不見了!是！所以現在我們回來以後，就是慢慢的在復育這些東西。感受著唐鴉老師對土地的熱愛，從一件件的作品。而除了藝術創作，他也秉持友善環境的理念照顧自家果園，並鼓勵家鄉夥伴一起栽種無毒、有機果物。而這些健康的水果，也成了最佳原料，給妻子釀醋使用！這不是一件容易的差事。體驗獨特的客家人文風情，頭份流東正等著你，我是林柏妤，享受在台灣的時光，我們下次見!
This village has also been enriched by the return of the artist Tang-ya and his wife.Excuse me.When I was a child,our front courtyard, there are a lot of fireflies, after leaving a few years, fireflies all gone.Yes!Now, we're back, dedicated to rebirth of these things.You can feel the love that Tang-ya has for this land in each of his pieces. Aside from art, he has worked to uphold eco-friendly ideas in tending to the orchard at his home, and encourages his fellow villagers to grow their own fruit without pesticides.These healthy fruits are the perfect ingredients for the vinegar that his wife brews herself!It’s not easy though.A special Hakka cultural experience awaits you in Liudong! Following the amazing cypress aroma, we have arrived in the Lintianshan Forestry Cultural Area. It used to be the 4th largest forestry in Taiwan.During Japanese Occupation, this place was called「Molisaka 」,In Japanese, it means “a hill full of trees”.
跟著檜木的氣味，我們來到了林田山林業文化園區，這裡曾是經是台灣第四大的林場，在日治時期，日本人稱這裡叫「森坂」，這句日本話的意思，是山坡上長滿樹林
This used to be a very busy and vigorous area due to the booming forest industry. you can find the old housing made of cypress and the tracks on the ground still well preserved.
這裡曾經有著繁榮的景象，原因在於林木業的興盛，你可以發現檜木房子的老房子與火車軌道，都是當初保存下來的
The remains of the platform, train, rice shop, infirmary, and many other Japanese architectures marked a once active community lived here. The whole area had even sustained 400-500 families and a population of over 2000.
月台、火車、米店、醫務室、許多的日式建築，這些遺蹟，帶我們體驗這過去的光陰，這邊曾經聚集了四、五百個家庭，人口數更高達兩千多人

Yas,in 1961 every Saturday and Sunday,they show the movie, free Charge,that is a big day to the local resident
是的，在西元1961年，每個星期六和星期日，會放映電影，完 全是免費的，對當地人來說是個大日子

You don’t necessarily learn history through reading. Travelling is a great channel. Here in the Cultural Area, you can sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee and sip a history of half-century and learn a lot from it.

The Hualien Sugar Factory has been around for over 90 years. Except ice cream, you can also find a lot of Japanese style structures built in Japanese Occupation. They were designed for staff housing and now renovated and turned into modern hotels.
花蓮觀光糖廠已經有90幾年的歷史了，在這裡除了吃冰，還可以瞧見糖廠裡，大規模的日式建築是日治時期所留下來，以前是作為員工宿舍，如今轉變為舒適的精品旅館
