I'd say a huge majority of us e-scoot riders are safe riders, always that few black sheep which spoil for the rest. After getting my E-Scooter traveling has become increasingly convenient for me, not to mention the amount of money I could save by "going green". With a speed cap at 25kmh i'd probably have to dismount and push my scooter when going uphill.

I hope this post gets to those reckless riders out there and see how much trouble you are getting all of us into, it is not difficult to slow down for a second and give way to pedestrians. #RideSafe #BeSafe #BeSmart

I just wanna thank the Heavens above for keeping my beloved safe from harm. He was out cycling last night when he got hit by an errant driver who was making a turn into the car park at high speed.
Thankfully D de-cleated and jumped off his bike in time, somersaulting in the air then breaking his fall and rolling on the ground whilst the bike went under the car.
I can't help but cringe when I saw how badly damaged the Pinarello is - for it to snap into two, it shows how hard the impact was. And potentially what could have happened to D.
5 hours in the hospital, X-rays done, wounds dressed, police report made - I am just so, so grateful he walked away with only deep bruises and some cuts.
To both cyclists and drivers, please open eyes wider. Learn to share the road and don't speed irresponsibly, especially in residential areas.
