🌻Etsy.com(ETSY)
Anyway.

The question you should always ask yourself isn’t “What should I buy?” but rather, “What should I buy or sell?” Better yet, instead of asking how you can improve your portfolio, ask how you can streamline it.

Why the Chip Shortage Is So Hard to Overcome
https://www.wsj.com/articles/why-the-chip-shortage-is-so-hard-to-overcome-11618844905
"Auto makers are among the buyers that have felt the shortage most acutely, as cars need more semiconductors than ever before. Electronics made up more than 40% of a car’s total cost in 2017, doubling from that in 2007, according to consulting firm Deloitte."
"Their use is expected to grow, along with costs. German auto-chip maker Infineon Technologies AG said it expects the cost of chips in autonomous vehicles to jump to about $1,200 by 2030 from about $170 currently required for “Level 2” vehicles, or partly automated cars."

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the US Government started to cut ties with Asia in order to protect the integrity of its industrial supply chains.
The US State Security System indicated that the US National Defence Industry had an issue of having excessive exposure for a number of years and that it will now have to accelerate the speed of industrial development. Semiconductors and microelectronic chips are imperative for national defence mechanisms. Taiwan’s TSMC and South Korea’s Samsung, as well as factories in China are some of the US’ suppliers.
The US expressed that Taiwan’s wafer industry is the single point of failure for the US, meaning that once it fails, industry in the US will not be able to recover.

On my way to Samsung’s top secret R&D labs, I pass through the company’s Innovation Museum, an area that’s open to the public.
It’s not just Samsung products on display: It’s all of the big names in consumer tech history.
I spot a Hoover vacuum cleaner, a classic Sony Trinitron TV and early semiconductors by Intel. It’s a walk through a timeline of human ingenuity, from the discovery of electricity to the first brick-sized mobile phone — and it’s a symbol of how Samsung sees its rightful place in the unfolding history of invention.
