Made prata for girls' bento this morning and the girls wanted it again for dinner. Made a less spicy chicken curry to go with it as well, and last min I decided to make satay too.. since it's a hot topic now #thesatayhero

At xiaomei and didi age, there is so many things we need to do in order to capture their attention to eat.
Tips
1. Eat together, because when your child sees that you are eating variety of food this will encourage them to do so. It also helps in bonding.
2. Use bright and colorful utensils as kids are more attracted to it.
3. Encourage eating by cooking in different ways. One example for my kids is Chinese huai shan. They tend to eat more when I stir fry it compared to the soup version.
4. Let them feed themselves. No matter what method u are using for weaning, it is always good to let them explore self feeding. Messiness is part and parcel of toddler's life. 🤣 That's why u have bibs and mats
5. Set meal times consistent. So that they will look forward to their meal time.
Lastly, keep your expectations low. It's not possible for a toddler to eat like an adult. 🤣 enjoy the "mess" while it last.

Bahan-bahan :
Isi dada@peha ayam 10kg
Gula 3 kilo
Garam 10 sudu jangan membukit ngam2 saja
Aji 2 sudu
Kunyit babas 125g
Bahan-bahan diblend :
Jintan manis biji 20sudu
Jintan putih biji 10sudu
Serbuk ketumbar babas 10sudu
Serai 10 btg
Lengkuas agak-agak 2 ibu jari
Halia agak-agak 2 ibu jari
Bawang putih 1 labu
Bawang besar 2 biji
Cara-cara :
Potong dadu isi ayam, kulit ayam celur sekejap potong kecik agak-agak boleh cucuk, masuk semua bahan-bahan di atas gaul rata perap 2 3 jam boleh lah cucuk bakar.
Bahan renjis masa bakar
2 sudu susu pekat manis@santan
Air perap satay
Air masak sikit
Minyak masak campur buat untuk renjis
Bau harum semerbak masa bakar nanti
Untuk kuah kacang
Bahan-bahan :
Kacang tanah 3kg
Minyak masak 1kg
Cili kering
Gula 1 kg
Garam
Air perapan satay 5 cawan
Bahan tumis sama macam bahan blend tadi sukatan separuh dari tadi
Cara-cara buat kuah kacang
Tuang minyak dalam kuali terus letak kacang bila minyak panas kacang pun masak jangan sampai hitam nanti lemak kacang hilang, goreng cabai kering angkat bila sejuk boleh lah tumbuk atau blend (saya blend dengan air).
Tumis bahan blend (serai lengkus bawang putih/merah halia jintan manis/putih ketmbar) dalam kuali dengan minyak sampai pecah minyak, kemudian tuangkan bahan tumis dalam kacang dengan cabai yang diblend tadi perasakan dengan gula garam. Kalau suka aji bubuh lah sikit dan kalau tal suka manis boleh kurangkan gula ikut cita rasa sendiri

Ingredients:
Fill up dada@peha chicken 10 kg
Sugar 3 kilo
Salt for 10 spoon don't hustle, it's just suitable
Aji 2 spoon
Turmeric babas 125 g
The ingredients are blended:
Sweet cumin seeds 20 spoon
White cumin seeds 10 spoon
Babas cilantro powder 10 spoon
Lemongrass 10 btg
Galangal about 2 thumbs
Ginger is about 2 thumbs
Garlic 1 pumpkin
Big onions 2 pieces
Ways:
Cut the dice with chicken filling, chicken skin deep and cut it for a while, you can poke it, enter all the ingredients on the top of the marinated flat 2 3 hours you can poke it grilled.
Burn time sprinkle ingredients
2 tablespoon of condensed milk manis@santan
Marinated water satay

Với khoảng 20p làm thôi là có tô bún ngập mặt ngon lành ăn r nè 😆 Nguyên liệu rất đơn giản : Hải sản tùy ý, gói gia vị lẩu Thái (gói như C mua ăn cũng đc, nhưng mà cái dạng lỏng trong hũ của Cholimex ngon hơn nha), rau nấm tùy ý luôn, sa tế ai thích ăn cay hơn thì cho vào 😗
Cách nấu cũng dễ thoai, phi thơm hành khô, cho hải sản vào đảo vs 1 ít gia vị lẩu, 1 ít nc mắm cho thơm, xong múc riêng hải sản ra. Bạn nào cầu kì hơn thì xào hải sản cùng chút sả, lá chanh, ớt quả cho ngon nè, vs thêm chút nc cốt dừa cho béo nha.Đổ nước dùng (nc luộc gà, luộc thịt gì đó, ko thì nc trắng cũng đc), nêm gia vị lẩu Thái vs sa tế vào tùy khẩu vị, đun đến sôi thì cho rau nấm vào trần vừa ăn.
Vậy là giờ múc chan bún thôi, nếu muốn ngon hơn thì trần bún cho nóng trc nha :> Xong rồi đó, nhanh gọn lẹ mà ngon.

With just 20mins you can already have this bowl full of noodle and seafood 😆 The ingredients are simple : Seafood of your choice, Thai hotpot powder (the one I used was okay enough, I recommend the Thai hot pot paste from Cholimex brand, the one in the small jar), veggie of your choice, spicy satay is your choice to put or not 😚
It's time to cook! Easy peasy! 🙌 Stir fry your seafood with a little bit of dried shallots, season them with fish sauce and some Thai hotpot paste you got, if you want to level up your meal, add some lime leaves, lemongrass, chillies and later add a few spoon of coconut cream to your broth. After that, take all of the cooked seafood out, don't over cook, pour your broth (any that you have, or just water) in to the pot that you just used, season it with more hotpot paste and satay to your taste. Bring it to a boil then put your veggie.
Now pour the broth over your rice noodle, you should blanch your rice noodle before if you want it to taste better. And you're done!!!! 🤣

肥牛片400克
沙嗲醬3湯匙
粉絲1紮
薑茸1湯匙
乾葱茸1茶匙
指天椒1隻(去籽、切粒)
水300毫升
生粉1茶匙
做法:
肥牛片洗淨,抹乾
粉絲浸軟
燒熱1湯匙油,大火爆肥牛至七成熟,盛起備用
原鍋爆香薑茸、蒜茸、乾葱茸、指天椒粒及沙嗲醬
加入水及生粉
煮至汁香濃後加粉絲
熄火,下肥牛,放上葱粒,完成
Claypot Beef and Bean Vermicelli with Satay Sauce
400g sliced beef with fat
3 tbsp satay sauce
1 pack bean vermicelli
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tsp diced shallot
1 hot pepper (remove seeds and diced)
300ml water
1 tsp corn starch
Steps:
Rinse beef slices and pat dry.
Soak bean vermicelli in water until tender.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in claypot. Pan fry beef slices until 70% done. Dish up.
Stir fry ginger, garlic, shallot, hot pepper and satay sauce.
Thicken the sauce with mixture of corn starch and water.
Add bean vermicelli after boil.
Remove from heat. Add beef slices and diced spring onion. Done.

Bechamel:
- ½ yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup corn starch
- 2 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- ½ tbsp dijon mustard (or 1 tbsp lemon juice)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Pinch of nutmeg
Filling:
- ½ courgette, finely sliced
- 1 small aubergine, finely sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 5 chestnut mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can green lentils, rinsed & drained (about 400g)
- 2 handfuls of baby spinach
- 2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1½ tbsp tomato puree
- 1 bottle passata (about 680g)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Lasagna:
- Lasagna sheets (not the ones that need to be boiled)
- Nutritional yeast
Prepare according to the video instructions
Bake at 180°C
