Sate Ponorogo.
Yesterday in the morning when we asked our javanese translator, Pak apa kulinar yang mesti dicuba di Ponorogo?
He said, Sate nya.
And that very afternoon for lunch, our fixer Dipo arranged for us a lunch at little stall for us to try this. I was so excited to try their much talked about Sate Gule Kambing.
It was nicely drenched in sweet peanut sauce with a nice amount of fats but the meat could have been more tender.
