You work overtime to get the promotion you’ve eyed since the first day. Lack of sleep and hunger pangs but you still managed to get the project done only to find out the much deserved promotion is offered to someone else who weren’t as much as you did. You were mistreated over and over again but you always choose to stay because you light a little hope in your heart. You truly believe that things will change and you will be appreciated. Truth is, the only change you need is within yourself. Start valuing yourself and invest as much time you would with them who took you for granted. Love, care and nurture yourself ; strive to be the better person and never allow yourself to be mistreated in any circumstances.
