I have ten years of personal recovery experience and firmly believe that you cannot keep what you have without giving it away. I like to help people, it helps me to do so. I have come through an awful lot in my life and know that had some people not taken a chance on me I never would be where I am today. This journey with modeling itself started out as an innocent accident. I went to the Dominican Republic in March of this year and took some selfies in my tankinis. The responses I got when I posted them to my Instagram and Facebook feeds was amazing. Mostly because so many men and women reached out to me and told me how I inspired them as they were to afraid to take photos of themselves and had such low body image that to post them frightened them. I then realized that my photos were helping me too. They continued to push my own limits of vulnerability. So I began doing photo shoots in the spring of this year. With each shoot comes more and more positive feedback, more conversation about body positivity and self-love. So my mission is to help others to love the skin they are in. Which in turn is helping me. I recently started an Instagram account solely dedicated to this and am enjoying so much taking my modeling to the next level.
