If u always been thinking on HOW to blend, but did u ever think WHY u blend?

💋LIP: Is very dry , perhaps too much coffee /bare.��

✍️BROW : Did’t seal with glue stick ,trying to let my eyebrow grow more . ��

👨‍🦲SKIN : Just a moisturiser for skin prep follow by color corrector -foundation - Concealer and sculpt with cream . No powder at all . ��

👀EYES : Using Dark brown cream Eye-color as eye base follow by eyeshadow, dap and blend slowly to create more transition and intensity of colors.�

My eye balls are super sensitive since I am kid , I still remember during🏊🏻 swimming class , so envy looking at friends open their eyes in the water without 🥽goggles. Also failed to wear any contact lenses . Each time after I removed my eye liner especially at the waterline , my eyes will be very uncomfortable even using any type of makeup remover . ��🖥 Have some plans later tonight , better avoid eyelashes and eyeliner this round .LOL ��

I brought along many locally made liquid lipsticks on this trip. [FYI I don't feature every single local brand that I buy or am gifted with]
I wanted to really test how they will fare in different weather and hydration levels.
#PolkaBeauty wins hands down.
Why?
🖌 SHADES
I brought along Banjo and Maraccas. Both perfect on my skin tone for summer and winter.
Now I understand why some shades are meant for winter and some for summer. IMHO against my skin tone, both suit me well.
The others I bought from local brands were too pale even with a dark smokey eye look.
🖍 FORMULA
Extremely light and hydrating. No lip balm required during winter at all!
The formula is amazing and I could even get away with layering 2 different shades for a unique colour.
I tried doing this with other brands but it felt heavy and crumbled. Not a pretty sight.
🖍 PACKAGING
I like to keep my liquid lipsticks in their original packaging. I feel that they travel well that way & the names of the shades will not fade.
Polka has the thickest and sturdiest packaging. The others may hv pretty packaging but they were either too big, soft and got all bent & damaged in transit as well as in my handbag.
🖍 PRICE
I'm all for advising makeup junkies to buy what they can afford. Personally I will not buy a liquid lipstick just bcos they're cheaper. But my mind does wonder how come they're so cheap. I will look at a product and can immediately see where the money has gone to: R&D for formula or packaging. I will also check who their stockists are., reputable or not. This is bcos certain shops/companies adhere to strict ingredients' guidelines.
