最終波參戰樂團介紹：瑞典四大旋死代表 Soilwork
以正宗哥登堡式Melodic Death風格起家，走過90年代歐陸金屬的興盛與衰退，以及與美國樂種相互影響的游離年代，卻能充分掌握兩者其中之特質，打造同時擁有MD、Deathrash與Alt. Metal各種特色的特殊樂風！Soilwork，一組確切了解自我定位的團隊，以張張精采無比的傑作，在當下樂壇曲風混雜的時刻，寫下重要的歷史足跡。
原名Inferior Breed的Soilwork，於1995年成軍自瑞典Helsingborg，音樂上深受Pantera、Meshuggah、Carcass等經典團隊影響，貫徹Power/Heavy能量，兼具穿透性十足的編曲模式以及Deathrash狂猛衝勁。首張Demo『In Dreams We Fall Into The Eternal Lake」，在Arch Enemy團長Michael Amott的居中牽線下，加入了法國廠牌Listenable Records，分別發表『Steel Bath Suicide(1998)』和『The Chainheart Machine(2000)』兩張專輯，獲得到不錯的迴響。好音樂絕對不甘寂寞，Soilwork隨即便被名廠Nuclear Blast網羅齊下，於2001至2003年間陸續繳交『A Predator's Portrait』、『Natural Born Chaos』、『Figure Number Five』等名盤，一步步紮實的攀上身涯最高峰。2005年以降，隨著傳統旋律死亡金屬的式微，「Stabbing The Drama(2005)」和『Sworn To A Great Divide(2007)』兩張摸索期間的專輯，得到毀譽參半的評價；而Soilwork記取當中經驗，找回歐陸金屬的傳統精隨，並充分涉獵各方元素將其磨合，掌握持續在樂壇運行的竅門，2010年以展現卓越進化力的『The Panic Broadcast』漂亮扳回一城！
現役成員為吉他Sylvain Coudret、鍵盤Sven Karlsson、貝斯Ola Flink、鼓手Dirk Verbeuren以及主唱Bjorn Strid，而二度離團的吉他手Peter Wichers位置則由David Andersson遞補上任。Soilwork將2011年世界巡迴途中所累積的靈感，花了將近一年的時間完成錄製作業，2013年正式推出最新作品並展開世界巡迴演唱會。經過我們長時間聯繫及推敲後終於確認在10月13日旋風台灣停留台中一天演出！
