“We all play different roles in our daily life.”
Sometimes we can be our true selves, other times we need to put on a mask to look professional.
No matter which role I’m in, I try to play the best out of it.

When I’m a flight attendant, I ensure my passenger’s safety and comfort during the flight.
When I’m a Zumba instructor, I put on a big smile and give all my energy to make people dance and sweat with me.
When I’m at home, I’m a loyal wife who takes care of my husband and the house.
When I’m back in my hometown, I’m my Mom’s little girl and her listener.

It’s never easy to strike a balance between different roles, as long as we have tried our best, there’s nothing to blame yourself for.

While you’re struggling to play each role perfectly, remind yourself not to be trapped with the labels which are given by the society.

Nobody is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, so stop beating yourself up.
Learn from the experience and carry on.

Embrace your true self. 🥰

在每個角色間取得平衡很不容易，只要我們盡力了，便沒什麼好遺憾的。

沒有人是完美的，每個人都會犯錯；
從錯誤中汲取經驗，下次盡量不要再犯就好。

記得每天讚美自己：你已經做得很好了，不需要過度批判自己。

來自印度傳統家庭、才華洋溢的她，勇敢地跨海尋夢——她在美國波士頓，同時於哈佛大學和伯克利音樂學院（ Berklee College of Music）攻讀雙學位，一面以她融合印度傳統音樂、百老匯、福音與信仰音樂，結合現代流行音樂的表現風格創作不懈，身兼歌手、作曲者與音樂劇表演者的多重身份。
　
她的首支單曲 I Like ，更以360度的環景虛擬實境（VR）方式拍攝ＭＶ，成為南亞的首例；同時她也在美國、印度和菲律賓等國巡迴演出，曾獲得印度國家戲劇院的最佳女主角提名。
　
．關於 #24day24hourcoverchallenge
　
今年的 12 月 17 日，Avanti開始了「24天24小時翻唱挑戰」（24day24hourcoverchallenge）的計畫：她在社群上徵求粉絲們提名自己喜愛的歌曲——不論任何語言、音樂風格都可以——而她將只有24小時的時間，學會這首歌、演唱、找到適合的合作樂手，並且製作剪輯完成一支音樂短影片MV。
　
目前粉絲們向她「點歌挑戰」的：包括法文歌、西文歌、英文歌、菲律賓他加祿語歌曲、印度各地語言的歌曲——當然也包括中文歌！
　
今日，Avanti同步於她的社群平台和換日線臉書專頁上，發表這首來自G.E.M.鄧紫棋的《光年之外》翻唱版本，大家不妨聽聽她在 24 小時之內的短暫時間中，翻唱得「標準不標準」～
　
目前Avanti正在規劃歐洲、美洲和亞洲的巡迴之旅，或許我們很快將有機會，在台灣和她見面。

Avanti Nagral is a Performing Artist and Singer/Songwriter from the soul of Bombay and the heart of Boston. She combines her experience across various genres – Indian Classical, Broadway, Church/Gospel and Devotional – into a modern Pop-Soul sound, woven through her global experiences and multicultural identity.
　
Avanti was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading role for her portrayal of Agnes in ‘Agnes of God’ at the National Theater Awards in India, performed at venues across India, the US, and toured the Philippines. Her latest release was a Virtual Reality music video for her single 'I Like', the first VR music video in South Asia! She is also one of the the first to pursue a Dual Degree between Harvard and the Berklee College of Music.

Starting December 17th, Avanti challenged herself to what she calls the #24day24hourcoverchallenge. She invited all her followers to nominate songs for her to perform, in ANY language and ANY style, and she would have less than 24 hours to learn, perform, find collaborators, and record new videos.
　
She is doing a different concept for each video and is putting her own spin on pieces. People have nominated songs in several languages including French, Spanish, Armenian, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Tagalog and Mandarin. Her Mandarin cover of the Passenger's song by G.E.M.【光年之外 LIGHT YEARS AWAY 】will be out on Tuesday on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms! Avanti is planning a tour across different parts of Asia and Europe and might be coming to Taiwan and China soon!
