🚩We want to remind those of you who are interested in attending our Summer 2021 Youth Camp to submit your applications by 23:59, May 16, 2021. Successful applications will be announced on May 21.

We recognize that COVID-19 cases in Taiwan are on the rise. We will continue monitoring and will make decisions in line with the Central Epidemic Command Center’s guidelines. By June 16 we will make the decision on whether or not to hold the camp as planned.

Taiwan College and graduate students, you still have one week to complete your 2021 SEASAT Youth Camp application. This year promising youth leaders will come together for a 3-day camp in Taipei, focused on leadership, learning, and networking activities. Qualified applicants include citizens of Taiwan or countries in Southeast or South Asia who are currently living in Taiwan, 18 to 24 years old, with a strong command of English and demonstrated leadership potential. Camp expenses will be covered by the organizers. The 2021 youth camp will focus on Global Equality in the Era of Pandemic, and successful applicants will demonstrate a strong interest in this area. 昨天去了政大外語中心舉辦的暑期營隊上課，
高中生到大學生都有，非常地新鮮熱鬧！
全英文的session，最後大家還要用英文上台作"美國/台灣文化"的簡報，大家表現不錯唷 !
下禮拜二還有一場～～～！加油（幫自己打氣XD）

Yesterday I was at NCCU for an all-English summer camp session. There were students from high school to college. It was really fun and interesting. In the end I had them do a group presentation on American/Taiwanese Culture in front of the class. It was quite good !
Got another session next Tuesday! Let's Go!

Two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry is scheduled to visit Taiwan on Sept. 6, Washington-based sportswear maker Under Armour said.
It will be Curry’s first trip to Taiwan, which will be the final stop on a five-day tour of Asia. The Golden State Warriors point guard is also to visit Hong Kong and China’s Shengyang and Guangzhou.
Curry is to coach some of the nation’s top high-school basketball point guards attending an Under Armour Basketball Summer Camp, the company said.
Players would learn from Curry’s demonstration of advanced basketball skills and his experience as a professional basketball player, the sponsor said.
Curry was quoted in a statement issued by Under Armour as saying that he is looking forward to visiting his fans this summer.
He said that he would be able to share his passion about basketball with young players in Asia, and he also looked forward to seeing how passionate people are about basketball in different cultures.
Such experiences would empower him to meet the challenges of the upcoming basketball season, he said.
Apart from Curry, three other NBA players have visited Taiwan this summer.
Taiwanese-American player Jeremy Lin (林書豪) visited in June to coach a basketball camp and meet his fans.
Former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant also arrived in June following his retirement from the professional game.
Kevin Durant visited the nation in the middle of last month after he announced he would be joining the Golden State Warriors.
