CÂU HỎI & BÀI MẪU IELTS SPEAKING - CHỦ ĐỀ SPORTS
Các bạn tham khảo chi tiết ở đây:https://ielts-thanhloan.com/goc-tu-van/speaking-topic-sports.html
1. Do you like sports?
Yes, I’m really keen on sports. I hit the gym club on a daily basis and have my personal trainer help me reach my fitness goal. By taking part in some activities at the gym like running or riding bicycle, I also refresh my mind and recharge my battery.
2. Do you often watch sports on TV?
To be honest, watching sport is not really my cup of tea because I find it rather boring. Moreover, as I’m always busy with my work and study, I spare my leisure time to pursue other interests like listening to American music or going shopping.
3. What is the most popular sport in your country?
In my country, football is the most common sport activity and it acquires its reputation for The King of Sports. Two teams will defend in a football pitch, try to take possession of the ball, pass it to the teammates and aim to score a goal. They also try to avoid injuries and booking. People prefer football than any kinds of sports because of the animating atmosphere it brings back.
4. Do you prefer watching or playing sports?
Absolutely I’d prefer engaging in some sport activities rather than to sit in a dump place to watch others having fun. Firstly, playing sports helps us to keep fit and stay healthy. Secondly, it also enhances people’s competitiveness to win a match. Finally, I believe that sports also teach us about discipline to play fair and how to cooperate with other people to blow a competition away.
5. Are boys and girls interested in the same sports?
Obviously there are outstanding differences in the sports activities that both genders are keen on participating in. For boys, they are into some strenuous sports like volleyball, badminton to build up their strength and muscle. However, girls are big fans of some relaxing activities like yoga or ballet to get into shape and stay healthy.
6. Do you often exercise?
I used to be a couch potato, but then I gain a lot of weight, making me unable to put on any of my favorite clothes. And this had pushed me to hit the gym every day to lose the pounds. I has stuck with it for about few months now and the result is so amazing! I can be confident with my body again now.
7. How do you exercise?
When going to the gym, the very first step that I need to take is to do some warm up by stretching, bending over and doing jumping jack. After this stage, I will work out very intensely with some exercises like deadlift or squat, which can put my muscles in pain for the first few days.
8. Will you exercise in the future?
Yes, definitely. I will take up football, which is the type of sport that I have always wanted to try. I’ll start it by practicing controlling the ball with my legs, and then I will find a friend who plays semi-professionally and ask him to teach me in more details. If I do well with it, maybe I will join in a local football club.

Hello Mommies,
It's festive season, Be Kind to yourself!
I had huge plans to let loose and celebrate this period! But on 23rd when i had a drinking session w my best friend, i figured that's not happening this year.
When i came home tipsy at 1am, i told Deon to take the night-shift. He agreed. But i still had to pump and dump. And then baby woke up early for her nightfeed, so i jumped out of bed still tipsy and heat up the milk. When Deon was feeding, i lay semi awake. And because Layla wasn't latching, she took longer than usual to go back to sleep. By the time i slept, it was 430am. Woke up the next morning at 8am with a spliting headache. And mommy duties continue. No such thing as off day for Mamas. Too much to compromise just for a night of fun!
So, mommies, if you're feeling lonely and shortchanged this festive period, remember that this is not permanent. It is but a passing phase. And remember about Choice Theory. We chose this. We chose to be a mom. And frankly, the joy of being a mom highly outweighs the fun of partying anyway! It may feel like it's so much to give up especially when your friends are still living the fun, exciting life.
But trust me. It'll all be worth it. If it's any consolation, there's a huge community out there journeying together with you. Whatever you feel, we feel too.
Merry Christmas to you. And remember, you r never alone.

Irritable behaviors during hotpot
People say we can always tell a person’s character during a game of mahjong. This also applies to hotpot sessions. Putting our favorite ingredients into the hotpot to cook does not seem complicated, but it can show how disciplined people are, as well as their manners.
It would be an undesirable experience if we come across someone who does not observe all these social etiquettes……
. Dumping all the ingredients into the hotpot in one go
Even when there are only three or four persons sharing one hotpot, certain people just love to dump all the ingredients into the hotpot and have them all cooked in one shot. While some ingredients like beef will remain not fully cooked on the inside, some are overcooked and turned mushy. Such action also takes away the joy of rinsing the ingredients little by little.
. ‘Washing’ the chopsticks in the hotpot
It is always hygienic to use a pair of sharing chopsticks for cooking the ingredients in the hotpot, and eat using our own pair of chopsticks. This can avoid any form of contamination during the process. It would be unappetizing to see someone who does not switch chopsticks - or even worse, someone who likes to bite his or her chopsticks constantly.
.Two-flavored hotpot no longer ‘two-flavored’
The two-flavored hotpot, or as the Chinese called ‘yuanyang’, caters to the needs of two group of friends – those who can and those who cannot eat spicy food, and the clear soup should also be used to blanch vegetables for healthy eating. However, when some people feel the mala soup is too spicy, they would insist on ‘rinsing it’ in the clear soup first before eating. What would the others think of this behavior?
. Someone adding raw ingredients into the hotpot when the soup is boiling
When many people share one hotpot, or when the stove is not giving enough heat, the soup will take a longer time to boil. Just when we are about to take out the cooked ingredients and eat, someone just randomly adds more raw ingredients into the soup, causing the waiting game to repeat all over again.
. Dumping uncooked ingredients back into the hotpot
It is difficult to determine whether the ingredients are fully and partially cooked, especially when it involves many people. Imagine someone taking a bite of the food, realizing it is still not fully cooked, and dumping it right back to the hotpot! Our family members might tolerate this behavior but your friends would probably think twice before inviting you to another hotpot session.
. Pouring the remaining soup in the bowl into the hotpot
This might seem unbelievable but yes, some people would actually clear the soup in their bowl out by pouring it back into the hotpot! Shock level: 10/10. Do you have such friends?

MỖI NGÀY GIẢI 1 ĐỀ SPEAKING PART 2 - SỐ 1
Describe a piece of good news that you heard on the internet.
- Cuecard:
What the new is
Where you read it
What it is about
Explain why it is good news
2. Từ vựng và Cấu trúc:
- a piece of news (n): mẩu tin
- detrimental (adj): có hại = harmful (adj)
- dump (v): thải
- environmentally-friendly (adj): thân thiện với môi trường
- environment protection (n): bảo vệ môi trường
- many efforts have been put: rất nhiều nỗ lực đã được thực hiện
- cut the use of St: cắt giảm sự sử dụng của cái gì
- suffer from less harm: chịu ít tổn thất
- raise people’s awareness: nâng cao ý thức của mọi người
Bài mẫu: Today I am going to tell you about a piece of great news that I have seen recently from the Internet, in which banana leaves are used to package things instead of plastic bags in a supermarket in Thailand. Honestly speaking, plastic bags have been the most popular way of packaging due to its convenience. However, it has detrimental effects on the environment because it may take ages for plastic bags to decompose. Actually many efforts have been put to cut the use of plastic bags. When I see the image of banana leaves that are used for packaging, I am so amazed and happy because plastic bags are not used anymore in one of the biggest shopping malls in the world. This means that there will be fewer nylons that are dumped and our environment may suffer from less harm. In addition, I think this also acts a good example for millions of entrepreneurs all over the world to follow this “green” method of packaging and fortunately, there are positive changes. Many supermarkets in other countries such as Vietnam, Singapore or Malaysia have followed this method, which is so environmentally-friendly. This is also a good way to raise people’s awarenessabout environment protection, thus makes them change their habit of using too many plastic bags when going shopping.

I hear your! Some of you told me that self-care seems impossible when you are so busy! Here, I got inspired by Jade's reset week challenge idea and made a twist to suit my lifestyle.
It covers these main self-care aspect:
1. Foundation day (for you to stay grounded)
2. Wellness (anything to do with your mental/physical health)
3. Life Admin Tasks
4. Active Learning (e.g.: take notes/sign up for clasees)
5. Passion Project (start working on that project you've always wanted!)
6. Detox Day (reconnect with yourself!)
7. Realign (look at your brain dump list and design your calendar for the next few weeks!)

In case you haven't noticed, we love seafood but we gotta take it in moderation since none of us are getting any younger :p. This seafood porridge is so easy to cook and so yummy. Literally just dump everything in the rice cooker and voila! The seafood you use in your porridge doesn't need to be exactly like ours. As long as they're seafood, they're good to be used to put this dish together.
Refer to the ingredient list below or go to our website here http://spicenpans.com/seafood-porridge/ for your easy reference.
