The last few months have been tough not only for me but for almost everyone I know. Mental breakdowns after mental breakdowns — constantly feeling numb and not understanding what's happening around us. And the lockdown being extended for another fourteen days is just adding salt to the wound. It makes things worst. Many of us require that freedom to be able to go out and do things we are passionate about but then I realized that some things aren't really in our control. Doesn't matter how much effort we put in to end the curve, someone out there, someone selfish would dive right into the problem, stir and make it bad.
So I've accepted that things will go on till someone put in a great attempt to make it stop. And till then, I will embrace my mental breakdowns, take days off and just unwind from everything that is happening around me. It's not being selfish because I am staying still within the four walls of my home. And it's not being lazy; I am just taking care of myself.
