If you have ever watched baseball games in the U.S., you may have noticed that everyone knows the seventh-inning stretch song--- "Take Me Out to the Ball Game". It is one of the most classic songs in American baseball history. This song, written in 1908, features a fictional woman named Katie Casey who was a baseball enthusiast standing, not sitting, in the front row. “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” tells the story of a woman following her passion in what is traditionally a man’s space—the baseball stadium.
