利用細胞研究證實某些食物成份能抑制COVID-19病毒進入細胞,就代表吃這些食物有助對抗COVID-19病毒嗎?
早先是說含有 #單寧酸 的食物有潛力抗COVID-19病毒[註1],現在再說 #貝母素 #安石榴苷 #可抑制病毒 [註2]
甚至說
"每天吃60至100顆葡萄,或每天食約40至50公克茶葉量,其含有單寧酸及聚合前花青素在人體內就會達到相當濃度,足以阻斷病毒入侵。但實際情況仍須視每個人體質、吸收程度不同而有差異。"
說起來,這位中央研究院院士、中國醫藥大學校長洪明奇所帶領的團隊,所發表的抗COVID-19相關醫學研究成果確實很讓人振奮!
過去,看到這類研究報告時,我也會想~" #趕快推薦給大家 "!
但是~~
從事臨床營養工作愈久,愈覺的這樣的說法實在「太早了!」
新聞報導中所提關於單寧酸的研究報告 [註3] 結論這樣說:
"總的來說,我們的結果強調了挖掘天然資源作為安全和有效的補救措施的 #潛力,以遏制除腫瘤性疾病之外的COVID-19大流行病。"
"Overall our results highlight the #potential of mining natural sources as reservoirs of safe and effective remedies to curb the COVID-19 pandemic besides neoplastic diseases."
但這研究使用的是 #分子生物層級的研究方法,觀察純化的物質(例如單寧酸[Tannic acid])是否能使培養皿中的標的細胞有變化。
#所以距離臨床實際應用還差十萬八千里哩!
因此叫民眾每天吃60-100粒葡萄?
若依照食物代換表的葡萄代換量:每份13粒重105克,其中含有15公克碳水化合物/60大卡,60-100粒葡萄換算約是4.6-7.7份的水果,可提供69-115.5克碳水化合物,相當於276-462大卡熱量!
而"每天食約40至50公克茶葉量"的建議也蠻離譜的!
若以3公克茶沖泡一杯150cc的茶,相當於每天喝13-17杯的茶!
這樣,對嗎?
簡單地說:
#實驗結果顯示單寧酸能抑制COVID19病毒進入細胞。
#但這不代表吃富含單寧酸的食物也具有相同的效果!
貝母素、安石榴苷 也是相同!
很高興洪校長所率領的團隊為大家找出了「有潛力」對抗COVID-19病毒的食物成份[註4],但是,請不要做一些奇怪的飲食建議!

蘋果 — 性平,有潤肺健胃、生津止渴、消食止瀉功效,尤其適合慢性腹瀉者及食滯型腹瀉者食用。蘋果同時有暢便和止瀉功效,因為其果膠及膳食纖維有通便作用,而含有的鞣酸能使大便内水份減少,從而止瀉。
紅菜頭 — 性平,具健脾消滯、利尿功效,亦具有下氣、通經作用,不建議於月經期間食用。氣血虛弱體質者不宜多食,以免氣血耗損。
紅蘿蔔 — 性平,有健脾助消化、補血助發育的作用,適合脾胃氣虛的貧血、營養不良、食慾不振者食用。

Since beetroot can invigorate the blood and promote the circulation of the Meridian, it is not suitable for individuals with asthenic qi and blood, people with low blood pressure, as well as those who are on period, as it might cause dizziness.
Apple - mild in nature, can moisten the lungs and strengthen stomach, promote fluid production to relieve thirst, aid digestion and relieve diarrhea. It is especially suitable for chronic diarrhea and indigestion related diarrhea. Apple can help to relieve constipation and diarrhea because the pectin and dietary fiber. The tannic acid can reduce the water content in the stool, thereby alleviating diarrhea.
Beetroot - mild in nature, can strengthen the spleen and relieve indigestion. It can invigorate blood and open up meridians. It is not recommended during menstruation and some people may experience dizziness after consumption. Those with asthenic qi and blood should avoid it as it can worsen the asthenia.
Carrot - mild in nature, strengthen spleen and aid digestion. It is suitable for individuals with a weak spleen and stomach, anemia, lack of nutrients and appetite loss.
